    You're going to have to tighten up the logging a bit. Use USDA entries for your whole foods whenever possible and make sure you're inputting everything, including sauces, marinades, and condiments.

    Also, you should be netting no less than 1200 calories on a daily basis. Please don't eat 850-900 for extended periods of time. It's dangerous.

    I plugged your stats (5'0", 155lbs, female, 31) into the scooby calculalator (http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/) and it gave me a sedentary (desk job with little exercise) TDEE of ~1750. With a couple hours per week of light exercise, you should be able to eat around 1500-1600 calories a day and still lose at a decent clip.

    Hmm OK so Def tighten up on logging. I know I go out to eat and usually stick with steak or chicken hard to log but I do my best. I am a care taker always on my feet I don't have much time to think about lunch breaks lol. But thank u for looking at this for me this info has helped. Btw I'm 31 to who ever asked

Sometimes if you eat too little, you may gain or plateau, from my personal experience. Eating more for a week, then going back down, or zig zagging/calorie cycling can help. This basically means you'd eat like this:

    Sunday 1050
    Monday 1300
    Tuesday 1200
    Wednesday 1050
    Thursday 1100
    Friday 1300
    Saturday 1400

    Still averaging 1200 calories per day.

    Zig zagging calories is a dietary method based on personal preference only.

    You never gain weight if you are not eating enough, it just doesn't work that way.
    • If you eat too many calories, you gain weight.
    • If you eat too few calories, you lose weight.
    • If you eat just the right amount of calories, you maintain weight.

    100 percent bet that she is underestimating food intake and/or overestimating exercise calories.

    Yeah thats bs. Personal experience I have had to up my calories to lose weight after a plateau.

    That's what I was thinking. I mean yeah logging is off but that far off? Insanity hurts like heck half my friends can't keep up yet I'm bigger and they are all twigs. One friend is a trainer has her own gym and is lost as to what my issue is. She said she won't do insanity it's too hardcore for her. Said she only does that if she will be competing soon

    Personal choice or not it is a personal choice that works for MANY people to break a plateau.

    I have been weighing and measuring to a t. And most of the time I have to fake add calories at the end of the day because it won't let me complete without 1000 and I'm usually around 850 900. My husband is shedding weight doing this with me.

    this is the only useful thing said by this poster, IMHO. A nutritionist might be able to look at your log and answer some questions about how to eat properly...
