Well my northern buddies must be "hillbily Canucks" then, because they definitely us "eh" "aboot" quite often! lol.

Canadians say eh...he's just saying we don't exclaim it like EH. I say it all the time but it's more like an eh as in are you listening to me. Which is met with an mmm hmm or a sorry if you happened to drift away0 -
