Texas accents on men make me fall down in a melty swoon.

Texas accents on women make me want to pull my own teeth out.

Mind you, I did tech support for a major American internet company and the Texan men were always calm and kind. The women...well, let's just say they weren't. :flowerforyou:

Southern accents can be very irritating, especially when they're thick and slow.

I love Scottish and South African accents.

Love Spanish (as in European Spanish), Portuguese, and Scottish. And Indian. And Korean, even.

Southern American accents mostly annoy me. Being American they don't hold any fascination at all to me, so, be offended if you must. Just my ears. Also annoyed by Swedish and Norwegian accents, oddly enough.

That whole Valley Girl vocal fry thing like the Kardashians do...makes me want to dig my ears out with screwdrivers.

Two melt me: South Carolina southern and English spoken with a Spanish accent.
Two drive me mad: Midwest twang and Alabama southern

I specifically love the Charleston accent.
As far as the number one favorite on this board - Aussie, it makes a difference as to who is speaking it. Daniel Ricciardo..sure. I'll listen. Mark Webber...can't take it!
