Favorite Pop-Tart + ice cream combo

I just polished off a Cookies & Cream Pop-Tart with some cookies and cream and caramel ice cream and it was divine.

My first combination was S'Mores Pop-Tarts with Talenti Banana Chocolate Swirl gelato, which was also very good but not quite as good.

What's your favorite combo? Are the fruit Pop-Tarts worth using, or should I stick to the cookie-like ones? How about those peanut butter ones?

Favorite is Red Velvet pop tarts w/ Red Velvet Cake Ben & Jerry's.

Other combinations that are good (IMO):
Pumpkin Pie pop tarts w/ Pumpkin Cheesecake Ben & Jerry's
Blue Berry pop tarts w/ Blueberry Cheesecake Ben & Jerry's
Cookie Dough pop tarts w/ Half Baked Ben & Jerry's

I'm thinking of trying Brown Sugar Cinnamon pop tarts w/ Cannoli Ben & Jerry's

Those all sound great, except for the pumpkin. I think I will try them in the order given. Matching the flavors seems to be important.

    You are a visionary.

Call me boring, but I really want to try warm, brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts (the frosted ones, of course) and Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla. But cookie dough ice cream would also work with the brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts.

Oh my god. Those are my favorite Pop-Tarts and my favorite ice cream.

That sounds so good I'm suddenly unreasonably angry that I can't get Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla up here. Harumph.

Don't feel bad, I just started eating them this month. I made one because others like magerum talked about them and I thought it would be funny to post on Facebook.

But then I actually ate it. Holy ****.

I'm more of a pop tart and peanut butter man myself.

Simple choc fudge and peanut butter is an absolute winner. Has fuelled me to many maxes in training!

I saw that Friendly's makes a coconut ice cream and wondering how that would go with the chocolate fudge poptarts. Maybe next shopping trip.

Pro tip... Put the frosting on the inside. More traction when warmed up.

    I drooled a little.

I haven't tried it, but I wonder how Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts would taste with Blue Bell Moo-llennium Crunch.

I think I'll be the dissenting vote on this and say all those ideas sound nasty. Why would you ruin ice cream like that? I guess it's just because I'm not a fan of Pop Tarts. Sorry.

WHY HAVE I NOT THOUGHT OF THIS??? I have tried BOTH PB ones...and they are both awesome. Smores always takes me back to childhood, and the red velvet are off the chain. Now I need to do this...damn your eyes!!

    ^^ this is my favorite
I like to toast the pop tart, break it in quarters and set the pieces on top of a bowl.

Wow!!! It never occured to me to try this! I'll be going for the new peanut butter chocolate poptarts. Not sure which ice will go best with it though....I may have to try several lol.

I'm with you. Give me a huge scoop of ice cream in a sugar cone on a hot day when it's kind of melty and I am a happy girl.

Hey, thanks for the great suggestion on a good Pop-Tart ice cream combination. Your contribution to a thread in the recpies section, saying you don't like the recipe on the OP, is on topic, helpful, and appreciated!

    Thanks!
