What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I have a blouse that is tight on my arms. I can’t wait until the sleeves are loose. Also, my coat is tight around my hips. My goal is for it to be loose at some point this winter.8

I am 2 lbs away from hitting my mini goal of 150.
When I do (shooting for end of October) I'm going to buy myself a new pair of lululemon yoga pants with a gift card I've been holding onto since Christmas!14 -
I am waiting patiently for October 14, when my diet break will be over and I can start eating sensibly again instead of eating all the hours God put in the day to get the calories in. (sigh) Ten more days. I can do this....5

To get under 300 lbs again9

350 miles away from my 2020 running goal. So many set backs at the start of the year. (Broken bones, surgery, illness, death, emergency travel). My long weekly runs are now 10+ miles with shorter distances in between.
Goal: Finish those last 350 miles by 2021!10 -
My mini goal is to run 100 miles this month7

Mini goal moment, down to 161 and that means by the end of this month I will be in the 150's. I am beyond stoked right now. I had paused at 163 for over 2 weeks and was getting a bit miffed. But I forgot this happens from time to time and just keep pushing forward. Marathon, not a sprint.13

My next mini-goal is breaking into the 120s(then I’ll be in the home stretch-10 pounds till my goal of 120). Currently I am at 134.8. I am hoping to be under 130 by the end of the month. It’s so exciting cause honestly the 120s is a very happy place for me to be (I feel my best) and this is when I really want to be adding in lifting/strength. The last leg of changing my lifestyle and health and introducing the last piece. Maintenance and recomp.11

My first mini goal is 299. 17 pounds to go and coming off of 18 pounds already lost. It's been a long time since I've been under 300.10

Getting under 200 lbs7

Started March 2019 and lost 33 lbs. Regained 17, URG! So 2 mini goals. 1. Lose 1 lb. To put me 40 lbs from goal weight and 2. Lose 2 lbs to get me where I was before the regain. Sound easy? Well I have been hovering in the low 160's FOREVER!
Did it!!! 10 days to loose the 1st pound then 24 hours later the 2nd pound! Back to my low last year! Total loss 33 lbs. Never want to see them again.
Next mini-goal. 3 lbs. This will be the half way goal mark.
10/5 took me a long time to lose 3 lbs! As of this morning 3.2 down. Hit the half way mark of 36!!!
Next goal 6 lbs to get to 150 !!!7 -
To stay off alcohol which for me, triggers poor food choices. Not to mention your body has to burn those calories first while the food just turns into fat. Yuck. I'm down 5 lbs in 12 days JUST giving up wine.13

My mini-goal is to stay in calories until New Year, ONE DAY AT THE TIME.
It will give me a shiny new habit and most likely a little weight loss.11 -
Staying strong through the holiday season! Historically a weak spot for me, but I have another check-in with my doctor in early January so that will motivate me through!10

Getting my weight down from 243 to 230 by year's end.11
-
It's a super mini goal. It is to get into size 16 or below and under 220. I finally broke the 230's time to fight for below 220. I do it in increments of 5 so it's not an outrageous moment. I have also found forgiving myself is a lot easier that way.16

I am only about 5 pounds away from my original weight goal, that I put in as a joke when it was more than 40 pounds away. Feeling highly motivated to hit that number now.20

Short term goal - get into the 170s - I haven’t been there in a long time - three pounds to go!
Long term goal - because I’m crazy we’re still slated for a week cruise in April 2021. Fingers crossed they figure out how to do rapid testing and keep everyone in the cruise “bubble” (current cruises in Europe kick off anyone who doesn’t stay with cruise ship sanctioned groups at ports) ... could be the cleanest floating Petri dish ever if they figure it all out by then! Anyway, that’s the long term goal keeping me out of the proverbial cookie jar daily...6 -
I really want to lose weight in the run up to christmas, rather than gain it. I'm not quite sure what rules I'm going to set myself which allow me to enjoy this one time of year when there is rather too much chocolate in the house - most of it given as presents to us. Last year a lot of it went to the foodbank!8
-
Short term - I want to be able to ride my bike for 10 minutes while building to 30 minutes and beyond without any leg and knee pain. Long term - by Spring I should be fully recovered and able to take long walks.10
-
To start working out again. My husband is busting his behind getting the garage cleaned up so we can reinstall our home gym, so the day is coming soon!11
-
My Birthday is December 1st. My goal is to be under 200lbs by then. 10lbs to go!18
-
I have a 10yo son and have never gotten back to "pre-pregnancy" weight, but I am getting close, so that's my first mini goal.9
-
To get consistently below 80kg, Currently at 80.3!6
-
No milk chocolate until end of the month. And then I think i'll treat myself, and probably do the same in November. That's a good start to the season I think. Will there be a christmas support group6
-
Mini goal: Continue measuring portions. Push myself to go for a walk when I dont want to. Be mindful of triggers to emotionally eat and direct energies to something positive.
Long term goal: Continue to forgive myself for allowing daily stressors and huge lifestyle change (Returned to North Carolina to live and take care of my mom who is living with Alzheimer's.) to trigger depression. Thus making excuses to stuff food in my mouth and feel sorry for myself.13 -

Hitting 199# loss. Have 7# to go9
-
Ha ha 100 #5

I like the idea of a holiday support group too! I'm going to do a little indulging but limit it to only certain days, for the most part. My new mini-goal is to get down to 169 pounds, at which point I'll be in the "overweight" range and out of "obese." It's THREE POUNDS AWAY. I'd like to get there by the end of the month if I can. Losses have slowed way down but we'll see.10
