Happy New Year! I'm back to a new, repeated, beginning. My goal will be to work out 30 minutes per day. In addition to riding my bike at least 5 miles a day.0

it's definitely a good start!!! best way to exercise in my book is things that are fun, and don't get boring - I was amazed by a guy clocking up over an hour on the elliptical the other day - no way could I do that, but dancing for a couple of hours? No problem.0 -
Hey, Happy January 2016, guys!! Good to see our old friends here and welcome to all the new ones.
My fitbit bit the dust a couple weeks ago so no more counting steps for me. Grrr, because I really enjoyed that little bugger. Ok, I'm over it. HA!
All new goal for me since the step-counting is now out. Intentionally walking 2 miles a day (as an exercise, not strolling) is my new daily goal. And so far so good!

I had too improvise a few months when my pedometer bit the dust! I was lucky though as I knew my routes in miles. My new pedometer I dont like. I am not sure it is accurate on calories and sometimes it gives me the miles I know and sometimes it's a bit off...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....I will have too go by that though when we travel as I will not know THOSE routes....

Count me in! For now I will go with 30+ min. a day of whatever form of exercise, whether walk or jog, or gym, etc. Optimistic about the new year and utilizing the MFP forums for the first time. Feel free to add me and keep me honest! Good luck everyone0

Mall walking 90 minutes at a slower rate than when I'm outside...Still 2.25 Walking miles & .75 mile walking fast with the girls...By the time we got home from the Mall it was getting dark and COLD!
