In case anyone is interested, I made this with 500ml Ben & Jerry Phish food, 150g Self raising and 30g of cocoa power
Got about 12 bread slice thick slices and it is AWESOME (and easy)
Approx 165 cals, 8g fat per slice, but it is so chocolatey that it easily replaces a bar of chocolate.
    Yum

Fab, thanks for letting us know how it went Scoochie1. Did you use a standard loaf tin (about 10cmx 25cm and about 10cm deep, I think?)

Oh my goodness! I knew I skipped that yucky looking cake yesterday for a reason... Something better would come along today

Yep - thats the size I used. It was a silicone 'tin' too so a little flour dusting was all i needed and it came out in one lovely chocolatey piece

I just cut mine into slices. I followed the recipe as is, and used plain chocolate ice cream. I added up the flour 600 calories and the ice cream 400 = 1000, so I cut it into 10 slices at 100 calories each. I will be experimenting with other ice creams.

Thanks for posting the recipe. Anything with two ingredients is my kind of cooking.

Calories aren't listed because it will vary by the type of ice cream you choose to use.

Simply put your ingredients into the recipe calculator. It isn't that hard.

That's because the calories are entirely dependent on what kind of ice cream you use. Pick your ice cream then do the math yourself.
