It wasn't that much, well not to me anyway ...I like tasty food...breakfast, lunch with pudding, dinner and a couple of snacks? Is that a lot really
Also maybe my whole pizza, from a proper Italian restaurant is different to the size you would expect...mine fit on a dinner plate

But that's a small pizza, not a large one. I've had a bunch of pizzas like this too... But I don't think they are more than 900-1000 calories as they are pretty light on the toppings (and delicious!). A large cheese pizza in most places is like 2300 calories... which I guess I could fit if I didn't eat anything else that day and had a good workout... but that doesn't even sound remotely tempting.
In England we don't unnecessarily supersize much food ...to me that's a regular pizza
It's a regular pizza to me too, as I normally get pizza in Italian restaurants like that, and they don't come in sizes and are meant to be a meal or maybe shared between two.
From a delivery/chain place, large pizza is going to mean one that will serve a whole table. It's not expected (or common, IME) for one person to eat a whole one in one sitting -- thus Gisel's reaction.

Here's an example with Chicago-style pizza (way more calories than thin crust normally). The Chicago classic from Lou Malnati is 346 calories for the "individual-sized" pizza (this is what the restaurant defines as a single serving). It is 912 for the small, which my sister and I used to split and be full (and I always thought it had far more calories than that, so am pleased to know this). It's 1524 for a medium, which I can't imagine anyone finishing on their own, except over maybe 2-3 meals, and a full 2168 for a large.0

I don't generally count calories (nor did I when I lost weight), but I am interested in nutrition.
My pals here would probably say that my "wall feed" is mostly about my exercise, and the yummy things hubs cooks.
I totally get why some count calories, and why this site is a Godsend to people who choose that. And I totally get why others DON'T count calories.
Do calories count? Sure. There's a bit more involved, but yes, calories count, whether we count them or not.0 -

I remember it being perfectly satisfying, but I haven't been there in a while and don't know if they've changed the sizes. The small I've ordered not all that long ago and it seems the same.0 -

Don't be mistaken, IIFYM'ers count calories as well. You aim to hit your macros within the calorie count, which is how your macros are set up in the first place. People have misconstrued and twisted IIFYM all sorts of strange ways from its original intent and it doesn't mean what most people seem to think it means.0 -

I'm not "skinny" per se. I am a great weight for my height and age. My BMR, however is about 1300. My TDEE is around 1800. I'm gonna guess yours is a tad more.0 -

My BMR is 850 and I am 4 feet 11 inches. So I guess that I am a "little" bit smaller than you. A full pizza will feed me for two days.0 -

MFP is for logging food and counting calories. (Among other things)
As long as you know your BMR? .....Which is measured in calories. But you dont count them. You know your body's magic number but you dont count or call them calories. Not to mention, Im so confused as to the point or purpose of this thread.
To lose you must burn more calories than you eat.
A calorie is a calorie, forever. The end.
