Kangaroos have two vaginas. WHERE DO THEY BELONG?
They wouldn't be posting as they can't type due to very small arms / poor dexterity / long claws

Oh. That sounds reasonable. Carry on.

I suspect you are changing absolutely nothing...

...and do you really believe heterosexism/sexism are both more rampant here on MFP than they are on any other internet site? I suspect this is a simple case of you seeing that for which you are looking.

Did I ever say that these issues are more rampant here than on any other internet site? No? Okay, move on.

Interesting. So you believe it is rampant everywhere then?

This just further supports the suspicion shared in the last sentence of my post.

And on what basis should I "move on"? Because you as OP said so? I suppose this is entirely different than the exclusionary requests of other OPs, right?

The mere fact that there are both men and women looking at and posting on this thread negates your argument. In fact those types of titles are likely designed to get people to check them out. you know like posting a thread entitles "I have a vagina". You know that it will attract both sexes an incite exactly what you got here.

Stop crying and let people do what they want. If they want to post such topics that is their right, just like you. Stop judging and hating just because there are people that don't share your self esteem issues.

oooooh, salty. This all started when someone actually tried enforcing sex segregation after I commented in one of those threads. I had no problem with the thread itself, and I don't have a problem with those threads in general. They are silly, but there's nothing wrong with that. Most of the internet is silly. But actually thinking that you can enforce the sex segregation, especially when you're not even the OP, well, that's even sillier.

This thread was meant to be semi-serious. You just took seriousness to new level by thinking that I am hating on anyone. lol You're funny.

So your post isn't a giant waste of time why?

Seriously! I don't usually get snippy on these threads.. but this isn't 'sexist'! There are some issues that MEN will have no understanding of! MEN don't have vaginas, therefore.. they can't share their experience with which tampon they prefer! And I am not a MAN so I have no idea what they are talking about if they pull a penis muscle! GEEZ!

When I see a topic saying 'LADIES ONLY'.. I expect a period/ tampon/ bra/ underwear question. Not some big sexist thing. Men and WOMEN are different. Our bodies do different things. We face different challenges. Of course its the internet and men will read ladies only posts... no big deal! 'Ladies Only' or 'Men Only' is just a heads up.. this is probably a question that girls might not have experience with.. or men wont.

Put your big girl panties on and deal.
BTW: I also have a vag... and I'm not easily offended like some ladies.

How about a compromise: only men with a vagina can respond from this point on.

That's not fair. I don't have the money for that surgery and my insurance won't cover it.

Is this a pattern for OP? Start a thread about a serious topic...about the rampant injustices or oppression or some other bold and grandiose assertion...but then when called on the hypocrisy of it, or when others raise serious rebuttals, claim that those responding are the ones taking it too seriously? And then it's suddenly a lighthearted thread?

    This seems familiar...

(...but will admit that I could have it wrong and am thinking of someone else on MFP).

I've heard your vagina will just fall right off if you lift too heavy.

Only if you lift the heavy ones, and then you also risk sprouting a penis. Be careful. :flowerforyou: Then again you might just end up with the ability to lift heavy WITH your vagina like the Russian woman who can lift a 30 lb kettleball using only her vag. O_O

The fact that I have a vagina is not going to keep me from posting in the heterosexist threads that are titled with 'men, what do you think?', 'Guys only.', or any other similar titles. Those are not titles that somehow magically keep women from entering. Also, when I see a thread that says 'women only' or something similar I just expect there to be men commenting in the thread. This is the internet, and this is how it has been for quite some time now. Usually there's not a problem with this because it's simply what most long-time internet users expect.

So, I will keep commenting in the threads that ask men what they are attracted to because amazingly I am a vagina-having person attracted to other vagina-having persons and some of what I am attracted to men are also. My opinion is not made irrelevant simply because I have a vagina or because I like other vaginas.

Or should MFP start enforcing sex segregation in those threads? What if someone were to post a thread with 'White opinions only!' as the thread title and a black person commented? Should we have skin colour segregation as well?

How do you feel about the heterosexist threads that are so common in the MFP chit chat forum? Do you have a problem with someone posting in a thread if they are of the opposite sex the OP is requesting opinions from? Why? Why not?

    Have a brilliant day.

    Cheers,

    Candy

    Edit: typo

Oh, please! I know I can't grow a penis without taking hormones. But, lifting weights could make my vagina look manly. That could happen!

    I shouldn't be here because I'm a cis-hetero, but I felt it okay since I also have a vagina. I also don't see the OP's point other than attention-seeking and/or s**t-disturbing.

EDIT: stupid fat fingers not using proper keys.

Yes, you nailed it! Good job.
