    I am in, too--just became of this website last week and love it! Just curious, how do any of you count steps toward exercise on MFP?

    Welcome to MFP!

    I have a Fitbit and it's synced to MFP so it updates my exercise calories automatically.

    7/15: 8,202 steps

    Knew I wouldn't be able to average 10k steps a day (work an executive office job so am always on my butt in meetings or business lunches/dinners). I am super happy though as I am going to blow my personal goal for 200,000 steps out of the water since we are halfway through the month and I am almost 27k steps past the halfway mark!!! If I can keep this up, I will up the goal to 250,000 for the month!!

    I am seeing some really, really impressive steps on here from some of you!! Awesome job everyone!!!!!!

    Just found your group.....I have kept up with my steps/miles all month. However I'm starting with today with your group. My goal for the rest of the month is 95,000 steps. I will enter my total tonight....

    I do not convert steps to exercise. When I I walking I record that time and then take the MFP calories for the time and the pace I think I am at.

    I have just found this so I will do a monthly target of 700,000

    My steps for the month to date is 285,748. Should be a bit of a challenge to increase my average but hopefully not too much :-)

    47,984 steps so far in July according to the fitbit log. That's without wearing my fitbit to add to the count for 3 days while I visited elderly relatives (they don't walk much).

    Which means that I need to do another 152,016 in 15 days which is 10,135 every day no exceptions! Go big - or go home!
