I need all the help to remember to drink water.
I know it's good for me. I actually like water a lot. I just forget to drink it, until I'm actually thirsty.

Same here, I forget to drink then wonder why I'm so thirsty, lol.

    Day 2 - 8 cups
Today was a bit harder, I've had to really push myself to drink. I wish I knew why I struggle to drink water so much. Surely it's supposed to be one of those things that just come naturally.

Day 5 - most certainly won't be hitting the 8 cup goal today. Been at a family get together for most of the day. It's 8pm and I haven't even had one glass of water. It's been a coupke of coffees and then soft drink all day.

Since starting the challenge, I've gotten in 8+ cups for about 10 of the days. Today I've had only 2 cups and it's going to be tough for the next three days because I'm at a conference and I tend not to drink much since I'm in workshops all day.

Can you bring in bottled water? I find I do really well at work, and conferences, etc. because I am usually sitting in one place (except for breaks) most of the time. Good luck!!

I've got a few questions for you guys.

How do you decide how much water to drink? Like, I know what the options are (8x8, .5 oz for every pound you weigh, etc.) but what did you decide on and how did you come to that decision?

I'm trying the .5 oz for every pound I weigh, which ads up to 128 oz or 16 cups a day. The only reason I chose that was because I heard the 8x8 standard is out-dated and the necessary intake of water is not the same for everyone. Is 16 cups too much though?

The other thing is the amount of bathroom breaks needed greatly increases for me and that really disrupts my routine. Is this normal?

I just started this challenge this evening, but I've tried this before and didn't find much benefit in it. How does drinking more water benefit you?

This is day 3 for me. I think I'm going to go with 12 cups a day. I use an app called Daily Water to help keep track of how much I drink. So far so good!

I haven't posted daily but I have been drinking 8-12 cups daily. Can't believe it's been nearly 3 weeks already, this was a much easier adjustment than I thought it would be.
