I am 5'11" and weigh 160 lbs, my main goal is not to be "skinny fat" anymore...I want a strong lean body. I look thin but I have a bit of a belly. No progress pics yet, as I am only here for 3 weeks now. Would love to weigh 135 again, that was my wedding weight. We'll see how it goes. What are your goals UsaJewels05?0

Haha...I just realize I have another goal, I would like to be able to post final progress pictures when I get to around 135.0

Hi! I'm 6'0" is that ok? lol0
-
Sure 6'0 is close!0

I have some before and after in a word file I just put together. Actually seeing them all put together like that is pretty cool. I may post them to bodybuilding.com so you can see them.0

I'm 5'11, in maintainance, ranging between 150-155. I started at 193 in 2011.
I maintain only by reducing what I eat. In the summer my BF and I will walk more, but in the winter I'm very sedentary. No progress pic. I didn't really take them.0 -
I'm 5'10 and currently 215. I've spent the last 8 years putting on this weight and i'm going to spend the next year (hopefully) taking it off! I'm down 7 pounds right now and my next weigh in is on Monday. My previous weight fluctuated between 135-140. I'd be thrilled to get to 150. I don't have pictures right this second but can post some before and now later. I'd love to find some friends for encouragement and accountability on here.

PS I started out 6'0" and 186 give or a take a few lbs.
My original goal was 160 but really I just want to keep going and see how lean I can get for my bachelorette party in July.
I also just started a 7 day detox: http://chadwaterbury.com/how-to-get-ripped-with-food-a-7-day-plan/
I started it on Monday and the last three pics show the progression in my stomach.
Sorry for the undy pics.2 -
I'm 6'0. I started MFP at 215 in January 2014 (my heaviest weight was 221). Lost 45 pounds and now at 170 in maintenance since October 2014. I don't wish to go lower than 170 because I like the way I look. One of my progress pictures is in my profile picture. I have more if you click on my profile. I do weight training 3 to 4 times a week, cardio 5 times a week.1

thank you! still trucking along... one day at a time0 -
I'm a few inches taller at 6'1" and would just like to get down to anything below 200- 199 will do me fine but I am a long way off and coming from a SW of 330lbs.... I have never been any where near <170 so have no idea how that would look on me.0

My goal is to lose 50 lbs. I started at 281. I am doing cardio kickboxing three times a week and run. I have started weights and can tell a big difference since. Joined MFP a few weeks ago because I love that I can log my food and track my progress.
Feel free to add me. I'd love to have some friends with similar goals.
I'm only 5'5"ish, but I also consider myself "big boned". I've always been on the stocky side even when not overweight and most people that meet me cannot believe that I weigh 229lbs and am in size 16-18. I've read stories on MFP where people of a similar height and weight wear larger sizes than that. I have no idea what my goal weight should be, I'm just going to shoot for what has been recommended and stop before I start to look sick.
Good luck! I know you can do it.0 -

No need for the Frowny Face! You will get there! I started this journey in 2012 and from June 2012 to April 2014 I lost 75 lbs and got down to 215! That tells you how heavy I was. In March of 2014 I got pregnant with my first child and the weight just kept creeping up. I was unbelievably sick the entire pregnancy and stopped exercise and ate all the things I hadn't eaten in years. Now I am back at the drawing board again. I would like to get to 170.0 -

I'm 5'11 and I started at 193 at the end of October last year. I'm now at a little below 160 and my goal range is 150-155 but with a lot more muscle than I currently have ideally. I have never taken a progress picture unfortunately. I still think I'm pretty chubby actually, not at all what I thought I would look like at this weight (I have been 'fat' pretty much my entire life so I have no real idea what a good weight on me would be). I also always thought that I was a pretty large frame or whatever but I'm now finding out that that's probably not true, I'm just tall but that's it. So I might go a little lower depending on what I fell like when I get to goal weight. The awesome thing about being tall is the amounts you can eat and still lose, so it's really easy in my opinion!!0

I am 5'10" SW 170ish, CW 160, GW 145. I have always yo-yo'ed with my weight. I think I look the best at 145 but never have weighed less than that so I'm not sure. Also, when I get that low I never seem to sustain it. I have no progress pics yet, wanted to get down to 150 before posting that. I don't seem to be able to get lower than 155 - I've been on here for 4 years but never too serious until the last 7-8 months - not sure if I have a mental block or what but I get stuck at 155. Daily calories are set to 1400 (1200 seemed next to impossible to me). But I still go over 1400 very easily if I'm not extremely strict with myself. Add me if you want! Love this thread!0

Hello all!
So I just joined after spending about two years on the weight watchers program. At my best I lost 16 pounds...no exercise, just point counting. Then came the holidays. Fast forward a bit and I am in a size 14 jean, still weigh 234 and exercise 6x per week.
I'm getting married in 5 months and with the overwhelming pressure of planning, working and dealing with money, I have an extraordinary need to reach out for some encouragement and support to get through those crazy days when you just want to sleep in! Please add me! Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Hi! I'm 5'11", and I'm currently at 261. I started at 275 after gaining some post baby weight with my 3rd baby. He's about to be a year old in April and I'm dying to get back to me! The smallest I have ever been was 175, but more maintained at 185. That was way pre kids! I'm hoping to get back there and stay forever! I've lost 14 lbs since starting back on the weight loss in February. I'm glad I found this post, as I've never met anyone my height(women) that struggle with weight issues too. Hooked on motivation and trying to find the right group to keep me going on this journey!

hey! I'm getting married October 1st so I understand completely. I'm also in Grad school and working full time to add to the stress. Joy. Feel free to add me!!0 -
This is my second MFP (thought I was done losing weight and deleted the other one, haha). I lost 70 lbs from January-May 2015. I'm 5'11", and I know how difficult it is to only see progress from people who have a completely different body type than you! My SW was 275, and right now I'm 205. In the "after" pictures here, I was around 212 since I was studying abroad in England and didn't feel like counting calories!
I have a lot of selfies showing progress, but let's be honest, it's easy to find a flattering angle that's not completely honest. Most of these (ignoring the two selfies) were taken by someone else, which has always been the hardest type of picture for me to accept about myself. I'm not done, and my new goal is 180 and then focusing on building muscle, but I'm proud of how far I've come!

Oh, and here's another that I'd forgotten about! Got this bathing suit at the start of my weight loss (was around 265 here) as motivation and it finally fits well at 210

Hi I would like to see your picture update if you wanted to send privately. What 5'11 at 150 looks like on you. I would love to be 175 and I thought that was pretty good on me !
I wonder if I should strive for 155 ??0
