    Better still, cook the eggs directly on top of the bacon after first rendering a bit of the fat. That way it's all together when you put together the sammich.

    When I was a kid, my dad would save the Saturday morning bacon grease to pop the Saturday night popcorn. Popcorn popped in bacon grease is fan freakin tastic.

    When you cook the bacon, in a seperate pan pour pancake batter over the strips of bacon, and dip those in syrup. Then continue on with your bacon grease, eggs and cheese.

    Yes-- you save a portion of the bacon grease to make homemade milk gravy with and dump it over some biscuits.

    In college, after a lot of beer, we did a taste test on a large group of people....bacon grease won!!
