When you cook the bacon, in a seperate pan pour pancake batter over the strips of bacon, and dip those in syrup. Then continue on with your bacon grease, eggs and cheese.
Ohhhhhh
Genius!!0 -
Better still, cook the eggs directly on top of the bacon after first rendering a bit of the fat. That way it's all together when you put together the sammich.
let's not forget the peanut butter slopped on that sammich!!0 -
Imagine your British.
Sausages (porky whites are my favourites)
Bacon
Eggy bread
Fried mushrooms
Black pudding
Hash browns
Change eggy bread for scrambled egg and add tomatoes or baked beans and a slice of fried bread an you've got yourself a breakfast
Omnom.
Beans. I forgot the beans...D'oh!0 -
When I was a kid, my dad would save the Saturday morning bacon grease to pop the Saturday night popcorn. Popcorn popped in bacon grease is fan freakin tastic.0

I made something similar after seeing this post. I used our Belgian waffle machine & stuffed them with crispy strips of cooked bacon! Son & hubby loved it!0 -

Oh Christ, I thought some serial killer decided to get creative with some remains for a second there...0 -
I have been doing this for years....my grammy used to always pour bacon grease into a ceramic cup that actually said "Grease" on it...have no idea where she got it...anywho once the grease was cooled she would pour it in and cover it with saran wrap and stick it in the fridge....she used it instead of butter to fry potatoes, eggs, pork chops, even steaks.....I grew up seeing it, so I do it to...there is a coffee mug with a silicone lid on it, in the fridge and filled with bacon grease right now...matter a fact...:) this is an oldie but a goodie....:)0

I only liked eggs cooked in butter. I'm weird I know! I didn't like the bacon bits from the bacon grease interfering with the nice yellow color of the scrambled eggs!0
