Lol, just got defriended!
The reason was because I drink diet soda and that I "advocate" it and that had I been her personal trainer, she would have fired me from reading it.
I guess some people don't like to believe in science.

 it kind of makes you wonder how these perfect and self-righteous people came to 'need' this website in the first place (assuming she was overweight in the first place).0

you may well be better off.0

People defriend for often times the dumbest reasons....0
-
mmm....diet soda. I'd love a Diet Dr. Pepper right about now.0
-
Nice! Add that to your credentials.0

How would you know? Do you get notified when someone deletes you as a friend?0

I think I was defriended once because I eat ice cream a lot. But I don't care, I like ice cream more than I liked them.

Yeah. Are you bored or do you just want a good outlet to b*tch about your feelings getting hurt?
We all have different views, senses of humor, etc. I generally advocate tolerance but if someone doesn't fit yours they have a right to unfriend you without you getting butthurt and posting about it on the forums.0 -
Me too! Used to live on that!! :drinker:0

I smile, as I sip my Coke Zero....0

That is just dumb. Unfortunately, I have defriended two people. One was painful but it was unhealthy for me to continue the friendship. Second was because the emails were disparaging. I can't imagine someone defriending me because I like my one can of coke zero. I bet she doesn't realize the number of doctors who have worked on her who smoke and worse...0

It sounds like the person informed them they were doing it and why.0 -
It doesn't surprise me. There are a lot of zealots on this site. I am sure that person will find a like minded friend to add.0

I had a person on my friend list who would post constantly and always about how awesome she was, or how awesome her kids/grandkids were, and how she kicked azz (litterally how she would spell it). I found her a bit much, but one day realized that she hadn't posted in a while and since she had logged in for like 750+ days, something must be wrong. Nope....she had dropped me. Okie dokie. I just giggled.
At least you got a "reason" for the drop. A silly reason. . .but a reason nonetheless.0 -
Lived on Diet Dr Pepper, that is...0

This reminds me of Nacho Libre.. " I'm not listening to you! You only believe in Science. That's probably why we never win!" :laugh:0 -

WHAT?!!! You drink/promote drinking diet soda? You must be in league with the devil then
To each his own though. Maybe she has a diet soda addiction and just can't handle the temptation?
On a personal note, I defriended my first person the other day, but only because they would clog my feed with 20 paragraphs of self promotion/accolades etc constantly. And they were just plain stupid.0 -

She probably got tired of seeing that stupid signature of your credentials all the time.0

Jealousy... and ignorance...
People seem to think that they can't have certain things for the sake good health, and lash out at those that prove their belief to be wrong.
It's sad really.
But you have like a eleventy-billion friends anyway... you really gonna miss her? :ohwell:0 -

You're probably better off. EVERYTHING is acceptable in moderation, it's called life. I just don't know what moderation is...that's why I'm here! LMAO :laugh:0
