Makeup or No Makeup?

Ok...I just had this debate with a friend. He swears that men prefer women who don't wear makeup. I call bull****...

What do you guys think?

    Usually no make up or do it so it looks "natural".

    My boyfriend says he doesn't give a crap either way. He's too busy looking at my rear. I usually wear make up anyways, but just a little bit to enhance my face.


    ETA: Some people automatically think of lipstick when they think of makeup. I never wear lipstick anymore. The boyfriend hates it and will not kiss me if I have it on because he does not want to wear it, too. Perhaps this is what your friend is talking about.

    From what I've heard - no makeup. But I think what they really dislike is colorful/visible makeup or stuff that rubs off on them

    I'm not talking prostitute makeup here. lol He just give me a hard time when I even put a little blush and eyeliner on. His wife never wears makeup and he says that's what guys prefer.

    This is actually exactly what I told him. He was the one that was adamant that all men despise makeup...which is why I called bullsh*t.

    I'm largely indifferent to makeup. If it makes you feel better to wear some, then wear some. If you don't want to, that's fine, as well.

    I think all men have different opinions on it. I personally don't wear it for men. I wear it for me. I've never had any complaints either way.

    so true...whenever I do wear makeup, it usually looks super natural...not obvious, unless it's a special occasion

    personally I really DISLIKE makeup on a woman. Some eyeliner is ok, but really anything else I have a strong dislike for it.

    also, lipstick is a turn off for me. Maybe im wierd IDK.

    If your makeup is really you, and not dominating you, than they probably love it. Doesnt matter if natural or glam.:)

    My favorite: The girl says she is going to wear false lashes... Boyfreind: Oh no, you dont need it, please dont do that. And she doesnt wear them for years. And she tries one. And her boyfriend is enchanted in a second.:)))

    I am a makeup artist, and I see all kind of makeup and all kind of tastes. If you are confident with makeup or not, than you are awesome.:)

    I like makeup. I like different color eyeshadows and like to have fun. I don't give a **** what a guy thinks about me wearing makeup. Most days I am makeup-free but when I feel like getting snazzy, I will do what I want and wear makeup like this:

    I wear makeup because I like it and don't really care about what men think :)

    Besides, unless he's a makeup artist, he probably doesn't really have any idea what he's talking about anyways. The makeup/no makeup debate is endless and also quite silly.
