How old were you when you first shot a gun...
Trying to carry a conversation IRL over to the internet.
I think I shot a .22 that was sized for me at like 6. I know I was squirrel hunting (and holding my rifle by myself) with my dad by 7.
For the sake of this discussion, let's not include air rifles.

First shot a .22 when I was an adult. It's never been a thing in my family.
My older boys have shot some firearms with Boy Scouts and both have earned the Rifle and Shotgun Merit Badges.0 -
I was 9 or 10. Pretty sure it was a .22 single shot. That gun seems so small now. My kids all started "real" guns at 9-10 as well.0

I shot a .22 for the first time at 5 years old. I'm having the internal struggle right now about when to teach mine and that is way too young for me as a dad0

My late 20s at a shooting range...where we quickly learned if I have to shoot someone, everything that's not the target will get hurt the most.0

11. Was left unsupervised for a moment during and managed to smack my forehead with the scope on the recoil. Giant goose egg, lol. I don't remember what kind it was, though. Not very high power.0

I had my first shotgun in 1st grade (20ga), so whatever that age is.0
