How to use MFP.
- Use the tools to figure out how many calories you should be consuming in a day to create a deficit. Stick to THAT. ( THIS WILL CHANGE AS YOU DROP THE WEIGHT). Just an FYI. You will have to recalculate this ever 10 or so lbs ( depending this varies for people also ). You can either change the amount of calories you consume or change how much you use up ( working out ).
- Buy a food scale and weight ALL YOUR FOOD. ZERO exceptions. Seriously. A "cup" of something isn't good enough. If you don't add in the mayo on your sandwich etc., it ISN'T accurate.
- Getting in workouts and exercises helps but isn't mandatory. It does help to create a deficit and make it easier to drop the weight. It also facilitates for a healthier lifestyle. A bonus, you can usually add a few more calories to your daily intake if you workout! yay!
- When you get used to all that, you can start adding in Macros and really be a pro at MFP.
- Give it TIME. You put on the weight over time, you will take it off ( if you are really determined and did the above ) over time.
If you want a guarantee, you have to DO IT RIGHT. You can't half *kitten* ANY of it. You can't assume or ho hum.0
