I dont do it... I just cant swallow the idea if swimming in my own urine.
What would you say and or do if you were at the pool with someone for hours and they not once go pee.... but you go like 3-4 times within 2-3 hours.... if youre close enough to that person youd say something..surely...but what if youre not close enough to them to call them out or ask them about it..? If youre tanning and dehydrated do you not pee? Cuz id surely hope thats the case.

I never pee while I'm in the pool. I always get out of the pool and then pee in it.0

2-3 hours isn't really that long...not saying its healthy, but I know when needed (road trips etc) I can hold it for upwards of 8 hours if I have to. Chances are they are dehydrated and being active just don't have to pee as much as you do. I wouldn't call them out on it, but I might get out of the pool after a while...hopefully its properly chlorinated.0

Just poop instead.0

Thanks to your comment... coffee just came out of my nose & that doesnt feel very nice.0

Did you have to use "swallow" and "urine" in the same sentence? :laugh:0 -
How about "Bro, do you even pee?".
All while we're on the subject:

Some people don't have to go as often so they may not be peeing in the pool. I think it's gross and I get out of the pool and use the washroom is I have to pee.0
-
yuck. if you were in the pool for 2-3 hours though I probably wouldn't have to go in that time span unless I drank a ton of water first. If you were in there for like 4+ then I'd probably say something0

Meh... that's why they put a lot of chlorine and acid in it... because people do pee in the water... now poop is a totally different story all together.0

This is exactly why I stay away from swim-up pool bars. They're super tempting but what do you do when you realize the guy sitting next to you has been pounding beers for the past few hours and hasn't gotten up once? Gross bro.0

I see your point.. but road trips are different... I would think that getting in and out of water several times would make you have the urge to pee more. Least thats how it works for me... when my lil girl hears water running in the tub she pees...haha0 -
Hey at least you'd get to pee standing up for a change!

Meh.
Competitive swimmers pee/sweat/spit in the pool all the time.
It's not a big deal to me
The chlorine/acid kills it instantly anyways.0 -

Every pool is pull of pee. Just deal with it. Pee is usually sterile and anyway there's all that chlorine. I get it though... I just can't bring myself to use the public pool because it's just full of feral children.0

Yes.
That's IF the pool you are in is properly taken care of and they actually check the chemicals. I am personally not going to bank on the fact that it is and that the chemicals are killing the urine.0 -

I'd tell them they should drink more water, they must be dehydrated.... :drinker:0 -

You should probably just never get a pool again. Unless you are the only one to ever been in that pool, odds are that there is piss in there.0 -
Don't know if this actually exists, but I was watching a movie, one of those low budget deals with Seth Rogan in serious role, well Michelle Williams played his wife, she was taking a water aerobics class and was laughing so hard she peed herself and it turned the water purple. Has anyone else seen this? The purple pee water, not the movie.0

The pool I go to is so heavily chlorinated that I can still smell the stuff after a shower. Pee bacteria stand no chance in there.0

As long as you don't do THIS in the pool you're good.. You can't swim away from a cloud..0 -
Most of my swimming is done in a river or a lake. A little pee is the least of my concerns...0
