Oh, and you're welcome Mary and Lisa

Did your coworkers bring them in? I know where I work they will bring stuff like that in and then sit it on the counter right outside of my office so I get to stare at it all day and watch people come by and eat it. They put cakes, donuts, cupcakes....it sucks!

One of our customers....they either bring us donuts or boudin and cracklins

    Boudin and cracklins?

sausage and fried pig fat? maybe?

Not quite sausage.....it's a mixture of cooked rice, green onions, seasoning and pork stuffed into a casing and steamed or smoked (which is the best) or you can cook it on the pit.

Ooooo you and @jenjencin78 might need to have a bake off!!! I will HAPPILY be a judge  ...please.

I think we'll need multiple judges, I'll volunteer my services, but we'll need at least one more to serve as a tie breaker.

My family actually has a pie baking contest tradition every Thanksgiving.. all my aunts and cousins, plus some of the uncles join in. Of course all the uncles take part in the judging portion but it is so fun. Always gotta come up with something new and unique every year. I have won the past several years and will be sad if the tradition ever stops.

Thanks, Z, but lunch is veggies, hummus, nectarine, and crackers with cheese - now if I could add a glass of wine here at work, it would be better :)

One of the things I love about my office, wine fridge in the main kitchen, kegerator on every floor, and plenty of beer in the fridge.

Nope, an office, they just have a very liberal policy when it comes to alcohol.

You'd give up customer doughnut deliveries for endless supplies of alcohol. I like where your priorities are at.

@jenjencin78, we'll be the judge of that. A taste test is required.

I worked for Hiram Walker botteling plant one time, they would send us home with a box full of stuff for Christmas.

Oh it's on!!! Still needing a third judge for the tie breaker though if it should come to that...and ladies...play fair. None of this batting of the eyes, winking, or those types of shenanigans...at least be straight forward about it haha

Speak for yourself D, I make no secret of the fact that I can be bribed. Just be aware I will always notify competitors of said bribe attempts in order to give them the chance to level the playing field.
