I moved to western Washington state to get away from the snow and cold temperatures. And tornadoes, and severe thunderstorms, and really cold temperatures and really hot temperatures with even hotter heat indices.

I did find one of the barrettes I was missing today. It was in my computer bag for some reason. Now I just have to find the other five.

This time? I think it was when one of the cats jumped onto my nightstand and accidentally sent things flying. I am pretty sure the rest of them are behind my nightstand. However, that does not explain why I found on under the bed on the opposite side I sleep on or the one I found all the way by my closet.

Clear the space, strip the bed (and watch out not the get the barettes in the covers)

Oh, there is a space for her when she gets on the nightstand. The problem is she runs everywhere at full speed and jumps at full speed and she doesn't realize she doesn't have to when she goes from the window to the nightstand. I have never seen her walk anywhere. It is like she is in race. This is the fuzzy gray tortie that does it, the smaller black tortie is a lot more careful.

Good, cats need space! I was more thinking of a strategy for finding the barettes. You need them urgently?

No, I don't need them urgently, I just prefer to know where they are so when I do want to use them I can use them. The reason I have eight of them is because I tend to lose things easily. That is why there are 8 fingernail clippers in the house, 7 pairs of scissors, but I only know where one pair is at the moment ...

    Morning all

Isn't that snowy pic beautiful? I'm so Canadian. But really snow is pretty and fun until you have to drive in it. Then it sucks

True. Like the end of winter more dirt than snow. Or of a "warm" day when ypu step in a puddle of slush and instantly learn your boots have a hole.

But nothing beats how quiet it is during a snow storm. Like a really good dumping of snow you go out and it's like the world is peaceful.

I hope you get good picnic baskets. Not ones with yucky food.

We're off to our big fair again to watch the air show. Should be fun. Then I have to make a coconut cream pie...an exciting day ahead of me
