Haha well then so am I
I do lots of things for myself, I've got pole, I keep the kids in the daycare when I'm at the gym, I go shopping a lot and they're left in the kids daycare at the mall... I do a lot of fun activities, (rafting, diving, hiking, horseback riding and so on) and I leave them with mom if I can't take them with me.
I have 2.. I don't want more. I used to want 5 but 2 is enough.0 -
I never have any desire to hold a baby. Ya they smell like baby powder but they poop. And vomit.
My husband always moons over babies he did one today. I told him to find a young one to pop one out cause I can't..I have to have them.surgically removed and that ain't happening0 -

I'm finding that as they get a little older they can do some fun things with me...and that is enjoyable. Like the running (when they behave) and hiking and the baseball game. I told my oldest son that he was gonna be going to a haunted house with me this year and zombie paintball.
Haha my 6 year old girl would love that! She says she finds princesses creepy and loves zombies. We really need to move to USA to get all the extra activities you guys have.0 -

There is a farm that does the zombie paintball around Halloween. I have never done paintball and I think zombie paintball would be the perfect first time!!
Yeah I agree! I've done paintball, it hurts to get hit but not to much. Please take a selfie with a zombie !!0 -
Taking care of oneself is not selfish! My ex and I have a shared parenting plan, so we split the week halfway through, or at least we did before I moved. I am used to having 3 or 4 days a week pretty much to myself and I'll miss that time. That all changes this week with the kids starting school in the new district. They'll go to their dad's three weekends out of the month one month and then two weekends the next month. It's going to be a big change for all of us, but we will adapt. I love my children with all my heart and honestly love being a mom. I always envisioned myself with more than two kids but I guess it wasn't in the cards for me and that's ok.0

Is it crazy I never really envisioned myself much of a mom? Like I'm happy with one child and really only ever saw myself with one. I have always envisioned myself as a housewife and.l not working
There you have it...I'm unambitious and selfish and just like being a lady of leisure. Although I'm totally considering a job with my travel agent1 -

Wow girls, I admire you.
I tried the staying at home mom thing... I sucked at it.. I do not have what it takes to be a homemaker. I got depressed and felt horrible. Now I work full time and damn, I feel so much better.
I honestly don't know how you do it! You seem so perfect at it.. I imagine you have the perfect family life!!0 -

I'm Terrible at the stay at home mom thing. I either skate or workout in the mornings. Often if I'm bored I shop. ya I'll bake and cook but it's cause I like doing that. we all do what makes us happy. I really don't do well working for people so I do my own thing0

Nope. Nobody has a perfect family life. We all just do the best we can with what we have.
Agreed 100%. I always knew I wanted a career and children as well and it is NOT an easy balancing act. We all just do our best with the resources we have. There is no perfect parent because there is no perfect person. We are all
going to screw it up now and again, but the great thing is our kids will forgive us and maybe even understand one day when they're parents.0 -
Today most awaiting date of my life. My dear husband is going to return home after 6 months of onsight project!! But still 5 more hours wait excited!!6

Hahaha YAY! So what do you staying at home moms do when the kids go back to school? I drove myself nuts when I didn't have the kids at home.0
-
I do errands, house stuff like cut the grass. Two mornings a week I go skate. I exercise. I get the boy for lunch so really I just have two 2.5 hour blocks to do things. I am going to look into working for our cruise travel agent. he said I'd be good, can work from home so I might give that a try0
