I never tried anything vegan..well i eat salad lol. but not meat substitute vegan. lol

Sometimes I just like a good vegan burger or even turkey burger. Every once in a while I get a craving for red meat and want a juicy hamburger.

Had a "greek burger" over the weekend which was pretty good...ground chicken with spices, onion, sundried tomatoes, grilled and put with tzatziki, cucumbers, and feta cheese...pretty delicious

    Sounds yummy!

I could really go for Mexican food right about now... I am on a 30 day detox (day 15 for me, half way there) and have eliminated dairy. soy, gluten and caffeine from my diet. ahhhhhhh tacos

I could not eliminate the caffeine. I have to have my coffee in the morning or it won't be pretty for my household.

    haha thanks!
On another topic, is anyone else looking forward to the nice weather sticking around for good? I love getting my workouts in outside much more than doing the inside or gym routine.

if anyone knows anything about lifting.. I am sure there are forums out there on this topic.. But how often should a female "lift"? I am trying to tone my arms and do several routines, and I use 12lb free weights.. is that to light and is twice a week to little?

its all about goals. its never to little. anything is better than nothing. and start small and slow and work up progressively. don't over do because injuries suck and just derail you.

Bodyweight exercises are great for beginners, pushups, chair dips, planks for your core. My advice and its just that..one dudes advice, is that you start something you are willing to stick with. so start easy and don't make a huge deal of it because if your like me...if takes an act of congress to get in a workout...i just won't stick with it.

there are lots of things you can do with a couple free weights. over head presses, curls, reverse curls etc etc etc.

Good morning posers of normality. I butchered my calorie intake via a huge freakin Stromboli. my son wanted stromboli... did log it....don't even know how...just know it was huge and i only ate half...had to be half the size of a large pizza.

this may have belonged in the confession thread..but they don't really confess much crap over there..

slightly sweet solvent. It also doesn't work in the "wet rag over face" form...
