Ya. It's literally what it does.
That's the second time I've been traumatized this week with animals being birthed

Well I might be taking a social media break soon so I have to get a few things off my chest first and this seems like a great place to do it.
    1) I’ve been making up words in the “describe the person above you in one word” threads for what feels like a few weeks now. I think people assume I have a good vocabulary? Or probably they were just too polite to say anything. Either way, there it is.
    2) I’ve also been making up quotes (and who said them) in the quotes thread in chit-chat. I dunno why. It makes me laugh, anyway.

Maybe now I’ll be able to sleep better at night, now that I’m not holding these terrible secrets!!!!

I make up words all the time
Don't go to chit chat but they probably assume you're brilliant

Why the break? Are you a drama queen?

Yeah, that's like the one I saw. The dolphin was swimming around and you could see the little fin sticking out of it. Then the baby dolphin popped out. It amused me though instead of grossing me out.

Is the break so you can work on the killer giraffe book?

We all have different reasons for being here....some to lose weight...improve fitness...social...etc.

For me it is to lose weight and the benefits that come with that. As a bonus I have made a few good friends who I would love to continue to be in contact with should we ever part ways with MFP...including some of my normies here.

Now I don't do things by the book....I don't follow many numbers....I have no desire to conform to societal norms when it comes to what "healthy" means...I just want to be me...but a healthier version.

I have been questioning myself lately...I find myself with the perception that if I'm not doing X or trying to attain Y...then I'm below some people.

Has anyone else seen or felt this before on here? How do you deal with it?

Interesting. I've not felt that way on here. Some people here are definitely way above me when it comes to being "fit," but they work hard for that. Me? I prefer to sleep in on weekends. Eat sugar and lots of it. Maybe the occasional greasy, salty fry. I'm not obese. My health is really good. I do work out, but I'm not spending lots of time doing it each day. People that put in the work should be proud of themselves. But heck, we're all going to die someday. I don't care if you're overweight or in great shape. There's no guarantee for anyone for tomorrow.

Where was I going with this? Oh yeah, you're not below anyone, Bill. Do what you can manage and what makes you healthier and happy. You don't have to be like anyone else.

Though be honest... if you could be like anyone else here, it would be me, right? (This goes for all of you.) :)

    First off we're all unique.

We all make connections with some and not others. I have friends from here who have visited, some I talk with every day. If you're in my circle odds are I like you enough that you are a lifer.

We are all different. What works for someone won't work for you. That whole attitude you must workout otherwise you're failing dives me nuts. We all have lives. Sometimes life is such that we need to just survive. I know when my dad was sick and then died I had days where it took all my energy just to make it through the day. We all have different external stressors, be they work, kids, injuries, parents, whatever. No two people are the same.

No one is better or worse that anyone else. We all have different circumstances. Make the most of what you have. Everyone struggles. Some are just better at putting on a happy face and carrying on than others

And btw Bill you're probably in the I'm sick of being injured phase which is good. Now is the fight time

I would like to talk about the fact those windows are very dirty...should be cleaned asap. It's blocking the view

The cleaners come every 6 months i think. Dirt is on the outside

Brave men i tell ya lmao

My cousin used to be a window cleaner. He was doing it high once....like high on drugs and fell off. He was an idiot
