Robert is #3 - but most roberts are NOT called by that given name.

    I've always been a Bob - #266

Last name - #19320 1250 people have that last name. And of course one of them doesn't pay his bills and I get the collections calls.

They RARELY believe me when I tell them it isn't me. Ah well.

GEMMA is the #1711 most common female first name

0.003% of females in the US are named GEMMA.

Around 3675 US females are named GEMMA!

That is very low! Although the last time I entered the states the lady at passport controlled asked me how to pronounce it as she had not heard my name before in the US, which I did not expect

When I was born in the UK in the 1970's my name was not very common at all - it has become more so with children born in the 1990's but I don't meet many people at all my age or older than me with my name

With you on this one. I'm from the UK - apparently Caroline is a rare name in the US?! The mind boggles  .. As for surnames I share mine with 1250.

KACEY is the #1893 most common female first name :drinker:

0.003% of females in the US are named KACEY.

Sweet - I've never met another person with the same spelling. But now, with Kacey Musgroves (Country Artist), I'm sure there will be more in a few years!

And my last name doesn't even have a statistic!

DORIAN is the #2165 most common female first name
0.002% of females in the US are named DORIAN.
Around 2450 US females are named DORIAN!

My daughter's name is ranked #396 and my son's name is ranked #173 (but I bet most of the people with my son's name are significantly older than my son). My husband's first name didn't even have enough to have a number.

Our last name is quite rare, with only 0.0005%, or ~1250, with that last name.

LARA is #695. One thing I have noticed though is most people I meet in the States pronounce it Laura and that bugs me to no end. That never happened in England! I don't get it, you don't call Cara Caura, or Zara Zaura. *mini rants * :P

It annoys me that I know two Laras who DO pronounce it Laura. I always wonder WHY! So weird. LARA is a whole different name in my opinion.

It also annoys me when Rachelles pronounce their name Rachel. I just don't get it. Rachelle would be more like Rochelle, right??
