Back in my day Pong was ah-may-zing. So was Tank.

And I saved quarters from my paper route and delivering TV Guide to play them at the arcade near ASU on University near Mill Ave.

Back in my day we drank Orbit, not for the taste, but because we learned about colloidal suspension in school.

Oh, and Twix had more than 2 flavors!

Back in my day, if you wanted copies you made a mimeograph master. If my dad wanted a beer, I grabbed his Stag bucket and went to the corner bar and got it for him.

    Back in my day,

There was no color TV until.high school.
You bought gas on Saturday as no stations were open on Sunday.
We rode in cars with color books not game boys.
When dad said no he meant it! And backed it with force.
McDonald's actually had golem arches. And a hamburger was .12 cents. And they served no breakfast.
You could work on your own car.
We ruled our neighborhood as kids not our computer screens.
Had to be in before the street lights came on.
Actually had daily chores that hsd to be done without fail. Or a period was spent with dad

Back in my day, $10.00 bought me and my girlfriend dinner (At the local smorgasbord), gas for cruising 'til about 10:30 PM and a root beer at XXX Drive In on the way home.
Even further back in my day, $1.00 got you two bus tokens (10 cents each way), into the monster matinee (25 cents), a candy bar (10 cents) and a soda (15 cents) and I had to give my mother back the left over change!
