Hey everyone! I'm Becca. I'm 5'11" and I started at 302 pounds. I am currently around 225. I would like to get to 180, making it a 122 pound loss. Please add me! I log every single day. I'm also a certified personal trainer.2

Hello! I restarted MFP today. I didn't take it seriously first time around. I'm currently 236 pounds and 5'6", and I'd love to lose 100 pounds, though I'm afraid to think that far ahead! I'm used to either eating whatever I feel like, or going very strict for a short time - porridge made with water, grilled fish and steamed vegetables, so I'm a bit nervous about the moderate 1200 calories a day approach. I'm optimistic though!0

Hi everyone! I'm 5'3 3/4", started at 288+ pounds. Goal weight is 135-140. Praying I can stay on track and get there. But 150+ pounds to lose is very intimidating. So I'm trying to take small goals at a time.0

I started eight pounds heavier than you and my goal weight is the same as yours. I'm almost three inches taller than you, though.
I started at 296 on May 10 (over the previous year I lost ten pounds, so my starting weight was 305, but I started seriously trying on May 10) and I'm down to 273. My dream goal is 135, but I'm not sure if that's possible.1 -
Second time around for me. Started back in March of 2014 at 240 lbs. lost 63 lbs by October 2014. Stayed same weight for months then got pregnant again January 2015 then gained weight slowly at first. Last 3 months of my pregnancy gained quite a bit. By the time I gave birth I was back up to 220lbs. By November 2015, lost some back down to 197lbs but now 208lbs. I'm still breastfeeding my almost 9 month old and struggling to lose again.0

I am 28, and in January of 2015, I weighed 280lbs. I got down to 175 by October of 2015 but have struggled and am back at 220. My goal is to get down to 120lbs. I have always tracked my food here on MFP and am back on track. I just want to surpass my lowest weight and keep shrinking! I'm aiming for 10-15lbs a month and typically don't eat over 1000 calories a day when I am restricting and on track.
I am on day one if anyone wants to join me. Goodluck everyone! We will hit our goals!!!0 -
I am 56 years old and this is my second go at this. Lost 100 pounds and gained 80 of it back. Down 15 so far. The goal is possible....just have to reach for it!

Hi, I am 29, 5-4 and have 100lbs and mabye more to loose. I have lost about 7lbs so far. Looking to make longterm lifestyle changes not just another diet. Looking for some great friends to stay motivated!1

I am starting at 415lbs (ugh!) and would like to get down to 200lbs. It's not an "ideal" weight but it feels much more attainable right now than aiming for 120lbs or whatever.
Feel free to add me!0 -
Hello all! I am 34 years old, and have 100+ lbs to lose. I am currently 265. I've been overweight my entire life, but my lowest was around 198, after loosing almost 80 lbs 8 years ago on another website. Slowly over the last 8 years, after a divorce, being single again, dating and a new husband, the weight has slowly came back on. I've been trying admittedly halfheartedly for the past year to get some weight loss. My husband is overweight too and is a great support, also trying to lose weight himself. I'm struggling with motivation. We have a vacation planned to Hawaii in Sept and that was my initial motivator but I am hesitant to let logging food, counting calories, etc. run my life again. When I lost the 80 lbs before, I was consumed with the weight loss process. It worked but I also wasn't happy.0

Hi everyone - I'm 43, and would like to lose around 80 lbs or so. I've set my first goal for 44 lbs since I'm headed towards my 44th bday and it will take me to the halfway mark. Would love any extra friends for added motivation and mutual support!1

Hey ladies!!! I'm so amazed at the positivity and encouragement on this page! I've been on and off My Fitness Pal and have some internal motivation this time around to push me in the direction of making this a lifestyle change, not just another diet. I'm starting at 301lbs and plan to gradually make changes as everything I've read has said that leads to lasting changes. Any support or suggestions are welcome! Please add me and let's make this change together1

Good morning ladies ... I'm in the same boat as many of you ... I recently joined a Weight Management Program through my local hospital and it brought me to MFP. I've been following the program for about a month now and I'm down around 17 lbs. I feel great but I am always looking for moral support as well!! Please feel free to friend request me!0

I've been on and off MFP for years. I'm trying this again. I would like to lose around 150 pounds total. 30 pounds is my first weight goal. I've lost 3 so far, which I'm sure is water weight. I am on a low carb, high fat, and primal lifestyle. I would love to have new friends.0

I have at least 100lbs to lose... in kilos, I want to go from 125kg to 60kg. I am currently at 110kg. I have been overweight most of my life, but after getting put on medications for my illness I gave up on my health and decided I might as well eat what I wanted and as much of it as I could because I was always going to be big anyway. Turns out that was a lie.
If you want to add me, please send a note mentioning this thread. Thanks!0 -
Hi everyone I'm 5'11" and currently 275 trying to lose 100 lbs. When I was 18, I successfully got down to 175 lbs, but slowly gained all of that weight back while at school the past three years. I'm looking for motivated friends to help me stay accountable and reach my goal once again! I KNOW I can do it!0

I have read many of the stories here and just want to add everyone. So many of us in the same boat when many times you think you are all alone. I have yo yo dieted ALL my life. This is my first time on this program which I really like so far. I need to lose over 100lbs and have been here a month now and lose 14 lbs. I lost 85 lbs once and even shot a tv commercial 28 yrs ago so I know I can do it. However much harder as you get older. Good luck to us all in reaching our goals. smiley:1

Scary start, because I do not like to put myself out there. I am 39 years young. 5'5" @ 250 lbs. I have about 125 lbs of muscle on me ( or atleast that is what I was told). I want to start living to my fullest and stop limiting myself ( which is what my weight does for me, I cover myself, do not like pictures, and will not do somethings that I use to enjoy).
I am active. Constantly moving from the time my feet hit tge ground in the morning til my eyes close at night. But, jusy don't seem to get yhe right amount of everything at once to click lately.
Not enough sleep, not enough water, not enough small meals, not enough active movement with the right heart rate.
I would like to weigh a healthy weight whether it be 120 to 140 but, would also like to maintain it.
I have had several set backs but, always willing to get back up and try something new. This is my first time with MFP.0 -
I have just started I'm 15 stones 7 (sorry it's stones here in uk) and I realistically need to loose to 11 stones so about 100 ibs! I have always yoyo in weight but never gone under 14,9 since I was a teenager so I'm praying this time it will work1
