Yeah...not a lot of difference between 20 year old me and 17 year old me. But as I'm approaching my mid-twenties, a lot has changed. Especially since graduating college.

Anyway, this is about you not me. Dating someone at work and then breaking up, not fun. And if she wanted you so bad, she'd either be on the date or be naked. Have any of those happened yet?

    1. She is 3 years younger than me

She is 17, you are 20. That is statutory rape...isn't it? That is...if things physically went that far.

    Not in most states.

And a date is not any kind of rape. It's just a date.

Edited my post-if it goes that far physically. I thought age of consent was 18 but...State laws I guess.

In a lot of states, it's actually 16. In NY it's 17. I don't know state by state beyond that, though.

She probably shy. Approach her, explain how you feel and see if she just wants to hang out and talk. Once you feel like she's comfortable, hold her hand and say

"I want you to ride my baloney pony until you get saddle sores"

It works every time. I'm pretty sure.

    I lul'd hard

Sounds like you've been friend-zoned. Sorry.
You work with her, so you're easily accessible to walk with or have lunch with if she doesn't have other plans.

    Wow. Ok, you win.

On a completely urelated note, I just glanced at your profile and no worries -- you don't look 44! I would have guessed 20s from your profile photo. You're doing something right.

I try to avoid drama. Its ages you.

Thank you for the compliment.

Wait...what?! I would've guessed you were in your 20s too.

I have a policy of not dating guys I work with, it's just a bad career move.

That is smart nothing worse than things getting bad and you have to see that person everyday...

Truth. Work husbands make excellent lunch buddies but you don't need them outside of the office.

If's she only 17 she's too young (in my opinion). Give it some time.

    I agree 100%.

^^This. Dont dip your pen in the company ink well. The second last company I worked for had a policy..."senior person gets fired".

This little nugget of information is coming from the same Mensa member who said in another post that "everybody cheats" in this thread:

    I was impressed.
