The air in Colorado is so dry every time I pet my kitties I get shocked from the static.

I never get shocked by my kitty. Maybe cuz it's wet when I touch it?

Yeah when I was in Colorado all that warm moist air prevented it from happening

Or maybe it was the Rocky Mountain "high" that just made you forget about it.

    "I do." = The longest

If you spend 10 minutes each day using the restroom at work, at the end of the year you will have spent 40 hours on the toilet getting paid to poop.

Do you mean because it after the winter solstice for you? Or because the earth's rotation is slowing?

If i am not mistaken the day get about 1 hour longer ever 100-200 million years, so we are not going to notice any change in our life times.

Things you may have missed from Rouge One:

Tie in with Star Wars Rebels:

I added it as a spoiler since the movie is still in theaters and the following may give away some additional information about the movie's plot.
During the scene on Yavin 4, someone pages a “General Syndulla” over the intercom.
Filoni confirms that it’s a reference to Hera Syndulla's future.

Later You can spot The Ghost in the hanger of Yavin 4 and later at the Battle of Scarif

Also The Hammerhead corvettes was first seen in Star Wars Rebels:

Imperial senator Bail Organa of Alderaan dispatched his adopted daughter, Princess Leia Organa, along with three Hammerhead corvettes—P1, P2 and P3—to Lothal to expand the rebel fleet, under the guise of delivering relief supplies to the people of Lothal.

If you get a headache from staring at a computer screen too long, stare at something red for a few moments, and voila, headache should be gone.

What if the red is on my computer screen. Will it still work then??
