Here's a yucky fact: Figs are pollinated inside out. Basically each fig plant contains a fig wasp that lives in the plants and crawls inside and dies inside the fig fruit. So a extra crunch in your fig could be partially digested wasp exoskeleton ]:

To add to this fun fact, fig trees also come in male and female.

So when Adam and Eve made clothing from the leaves of a fig tree....

Yes, you're right. I do recall that but it was never mentioned in the show. The only time their names were mentioned on the show was the first episode where they are listening to the news coverage on the radio. They names were listed but Gilligan was only referred to as "First Mate Gilligan"

Tangent - In "Malcolm In The Middle", the family's last name is never mentioned in the show. During the series finale, Malcolm's principal was announcing him as valedictorian and the microphone squelched right as he was saying his last name. The show's creator later admitted that he deliberately didn't create a last name.

This is an actual decades-old saying of mine: "I do not watch too much TV. I just remember too much TV."
...usually said after I spout off some obscure TV trivia.

Another one is: "The only constant is change and the only rule is exception."
I usually save that one for being at work when either something isn't documented or a manager just randomly changes something retroactively.

More people will come into an Emergency Department with non-emergent illnesses and complain about the wait time or people getting seen before them; than people with non-emergent illnesses that go to an urgent care or doctors office to be seen

The “DC” in “DC Comics” stands for “Detective Comics,” so all this time we’ve been saying “Detective Comics Comics”.

For the game Star Wars Battlefront 2 by EA, there is a grand total of 324 cards. Upgrading these will require a total of 155,520 crafting parts. This requires opening a grand total of 3,111 loot crates which will require 4,528 hours (188 Days, 15 Hours, 59 Minutes and 59 Seconds) of gameplay.

    Or

$2,100, if the player pays it, a number derived from the cost of the paid currency, crystals, used to open all of those loot crates. (Players can also use credits, which they receive for free; it takes more credits than it does crystals to unlock crates, however.)

The calculations don’t include how long it takes to upgrade Star Cards to their maximum level, which are unattainable through loot crates.
