Hey everyone. Just curious what people are shooting for as far as total calorie intake per day?
Specifically fellow guys, but girls welcome too!
MFP set mine at around 2,300, and I've always thought that sounds a bit high...so what are yours?

If MFP says 2300 you should trust it it doesn't sound high for a guy at all but I don't know your stats. I eat much less (1200+some exercise calories) but then again I'm a short girl and within healthy BMI so not much left to lose.1

Aiming to lose 1kg/week so 1320 cals, but with the exercise calories I'd average around 2000-2200 cals on any given day and stay within my goal.

I am 5'4" and breastfeeding a one year old on demand. I am on 1800 calories a day and have been losing 2 lbs a week. Starting weight was 157 lbs. I am now at 151. Goal weight is 130. I am curious if I can continue losing on such a high calorie diet when I have less to lose. Breastfeeding is awesome.0

1610, which is my maintenance calories with no exercise. I usually eat a little under during the week and have higher calorie weekends0
-
currently 1846 to lose approximately 0.8 lbs per week (my maintenance is around 2300)
5'4.5"
121.9 trend weight
120.9 recent low scale weight
Usually I just use MFP's numbers (1300 NET at my current weight) and let my Fitbit adjust MFP's calories up or down as needed. Recently I've been experiencing some issues with the link between the two that have made the adjustments unreliable, so I used IIFYM calculator to come up with a steady calorie amount to aim to average (it actually spit out a number slightly lower then my avg total intake in Feb where I lost 0.7 lbs per week).0 -
1210 calories0

That's awesome! Thanks everyone!
By the way, feel free to add me if any one is looking for more friends!0 -
