I'm 5'5 and around 133 lbs.
What I wouldn't give to be able to eat 2300
You know what's funny? I hardly ever actually eat that much. I've been trying to get close, but I'm usually around 300-500 calories short.0 -
5'3, 36yrs old. 15 lbs to lose, 1510 cals/day and don't eat back exercise calories0

1760 is my MFP setting for losing a pound a week. Started at around 231 pounds and lost around 5 pounds so far. So working nicely and isn't so drastic that I feel hungry. Got a lot more to go1

My 1 pound a week goal gives me 1550 calories. I eat 1200-1500. I usually stay lower, around 1200, just cuz I'm not hungry, but will eat all my calories if I'm hungry enough too. I don't eat back exercise calories

Female, 5'5.5", 21 years old, 150.0 as of this morning, lightly active as activity level. SW: 169, GW: 1450 -
Wow! I wish. I've been trying to lose 2 pounds a week. MFP Set me at 1500. Desk job. 59. Male. Walk a couple of miles every day . Arthritic knees prevent most exercise.
Been here for a year. Lost NOTHING. 238 when I started. 236 this morning.1 -

MFP set me up at 1660 for 0.5lbs/week, sedentary (desk job). Do cardio 3x/week. I don't eat those calories back.0

You all make me feel.... hungry... I'm 5'1" (used to be a little taller), in my late 50s, and have a metabolism built for famine...
At 1000 to 1050 calories and at least 30 minutes of exercise 6 days a week (with several hours of hiking, biking, or something on the weekend), I'm losing between .5 and 1 lb weekly. That "never eat less than 1200 calories a day" thing? Don't want to hear about it. I gain at 1200 (even with exercise).
Currently at 164, heading to 148ish -- I'll never be thin, but I look and feel a whole lot healthier there.0 -
2000 (: female 5'5 120 lbs (on good days). It feels high for me too but I'm not gaining so I can't complain. Just trying to maintain at a healthy weight right now. Sure I could lose a couple lbs but honestly it's too much of a hassle for such a small pay off.0

I'm aiming for 1300 to lose, but I seem to be able to go as high as 1600. If I get near 1700-1800 I only maintain.
I'm not always good about staying on track so it's nice that I have some wiggle room.0 -
5'9" , 183 lbs here (down from 270).
I average between 1650-1900 calories on any given week. Yes, it really does vary that much. Lately I've been absolutely ravenous. Now I am going to go earn those calories above my target (1500 + exercise) on a hike so I can enjoy a delicious supper.0 -
1170+exercise calories that I try not to eat! Have 1kg (2lb) to go to my Atkins goal weight, but 3kg (6lb) to my personal goal weight. Have lost 34kg over the past 2 years. Female, 54 yo, 5'2" at 135 (61.4kg)0

Specifically fellow guys, but girls welcome too!
MFP set mine at around 2,300, and I've always thought that sounds a bit high...so what are yours?
2170 that's with a MFP goal of losing 1 lb per week at 6'2" and 250 lbs.0 -
I do between 1200-1400 a day..very low cal diet..but I am older (57) and needed to drop weight fast. I was over 300# I couple the low calorie diet with mainly cardio exercise. I'm sure I'll add calories as my weight drops and add some different exercises as well.0

I was losing for sure on 1400-1450, but wanted to increase because I started exercising more. I averaged 1.5lbs/week at 1,450 with only working out 2-3 times a week. Feel free to add me or look at my diary. I think it's public. Ignore the last week...major swing from a 2 day binge and now 3 days of getting back on track. Lol0 -
1200-14001

It varies depending on whatever calorie scheduling pattern I'm following. If doing IF I do 800 one day 2000 the next. Currently doing a flat 10,000 calories a week (averages out to 1428 a day) and I just eat to satisfaction 6 days a week, trying to not to stray too high up, then catch up on any extras on the 7th. For example, if I had 6 days of 1600 calories I would eat about 400 calories on the 7th. Those numbers are a base. I do eat back almost all of my exercise calories depending on appetite, so that 400 may actually turn out to be anywhere from 400 to 1400.
I'm 5'6, female and have about 75 more lbs to lose give or take.0 -
That's great, everyone!0
