I know this might be a weird question. I am the type of person that likes to shower before bed because my fiance works night and sometimes when he gets off, I will wake up and we will do sexual things. Then go to sleep.and wake up again in the morning to have coffee and exercise and shower again. Well I exercise about 5 or 6 times a day. I don't have time to get in the shower after every time. Plus I would dry out and Crack really badly. So how do I clean up and get sweat off me and smell good without showering 7 times a day???

Baby wipes. I often don't have enough time to work out at my university's gym, shower, and get to my first class on time, so baby wipes are a godsend.
I know this sounds gross, but I had a nursing professor tell me that the human body is designed to only be bathed once every 3(ish) days. Bathing too much -especially with super hot water- can really dry out your skin and increase irritation.6 -
Why didn't I think of that! Thank you you are awesome!0

Baby wipes, or feminine wipes. Body spray.
I shower every other day. Showering to much causes a lot of skin irritation due to sensitivity.
Corn starch and baby powder also absorb moisture and can leave the skin feeling soft also.3 -
If for some reason you get a rash from the baby wipes (I'm allergic to aloe products), use cheap facial wipes.0

Why are you exercising 5 or 6 times a day?1

don't use such hot water when you shower, don't shampoo every time you shower, don't use soap every time you shower... these are the things that are trying out your hair and skin, not the actual water itself...1
-
Why would you not do all of your exercising before you shower at all? I walk between 3 & 6 miles a day on my treadmill, but I break them up over about 4 or 5 hours. When I'm done, then I shower. Why waste water? Or just jump in and do a quick cool-water rinse or something if you're super sweaty. I do that after yard work on hot days.2

5 or 6 times a DAY? I thought that was a typo at first, but you said it twice. What are you considering to be "exercise" (and if it's sex with your fiance, please just forget I asked).9

Well because of my disability Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), I am unable to always exercise; for an hour straight. So I usually exercise for 15 to 30 minutes, until I've done an hour; over several hours. However I am only 14 pounds overweight, so I don't typically sweat; when exercising. How much someone weighs alone, typically causes excess sweating & difficultly exercising, for an average amount of time; of a healthy weight person.1 -

I have been overweight and healthy and skinny and none of those times have I sweat. Some Ppl don't sweat and some Ppl always will no matter what.5 -
So much judgment! When I first started my lifestyle change, 3 years and 90 pounds ago, I could only exercise for a short time, so I broke it down to several sessions per day and would sweat like crazy every time. Fortunately, I'm retired, so I didn't have to worry about being too presentable, but if necessary I would have showered several times a day so I didn't look or smell bad. When I was obese, people already judged me, I didn't need them talking about how I stink also.8

I agree so judgmental!!! Since you didn't explain more in detail why you have to exercise that many times or maybe you choose to, whatever it is if you want to smell good for your fiancé when he comes home I don't blame you. I don't want to have sex with my husband when I stink or when he stinks for that matter!! As for advice I would suggest just washing up in the sink maybe. Getting the important parts. My doctor has told me not to use baby powder in my vaginal area because it has been link to causing certain types of cancers so I would stay clear of using it down there if your going to use it. Feminine wipes are great as are baby wipes but they also do contain alcohol, even the ones that say alcohol free, and over time this will dry your skin too. Whatever it takes to make you feel better about yourself I say do!!!0 -

I exercise that much a day because I can only walk for maybe 10 minutes at a time on good days then I feel exhausted so i spread it out multiple times a day. Problem is I still sweat like a pig.1 -

Time. I'll exercise in the morning. Then every few hours until about 8. And sometimes I have to go places in between...0 -

I mean what exercise are you doing at what intensity and for how long? I may split my walking up throughout the day but I don't get sweaty or dirty enough each time to take a shower.0 -
Please no judgement...okay I'll explain a little better. I have a tracheostemy due to tracheal stenosis. Basically january of 2015, I tried to kill myself by overdosing on pills. Before i am judged on that, i was at a point in my life that I hated myself. I cut myself. I cried everyday. I stopped caring. I was abused and ignored alot of my life. I was raped at 16. Before my fiance, i hadnf been hugged or touched by another human in a loving way since age 12. I was last on everyone's list. All through school i was made fun of, ignored, called names, had things thrown at me, no friends, being used all the time. I felt worthless and like i was burden and i deserved to die. I am people pleaser. Enough people told me i should die for years. I finally couldnt hold on any longer...when people drive you to a point of feeling like death is the only way to be happy theres a problem. Theres so much more i can say but your just strangers...Please dont hate on me... im still trying to recover. I started seeing a psychiatrist and I have bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder. Anyway, my fiance called 911 when I started hallucinating due to the overdose and was screaming for him. I was in the shower and he didn't know what I did. Well I was intubated for 10 days in a coma, not knowing if I would make it. Afterwards I developed the stenosis due to the ventilator. Well I have been in and out of the hospital a minimum of once a month since then and sometimes more. I have been in medically induced comas 6 times since January of 2015. I am fat. I haven't been able to exercise because I can't breathe. They put in the trach so I always have an open airway and my throat will stop closing up. I have to lose weight to be able to have open chest tracheal reconstruction surgery. I have to get to at least 200 pounds... so because of my breathing, I can't walk more than 10 minutes because I feel like I'm suffocating and my oxygen drops to high 80's. Since I am fat too thay makes it harder. So I need to break it up. I have always sweated alot. So I'll be almost drenched after that ten minutes. I feel really tired after walking just that so I have to aait hours to build up enough strength to do it again. I am on disability right now trying to get all this healed and on with my life. I am only 20... I have hidradenitis, a skin condition, and if I don't keep my skin clean and free of sweat and dirt, it will flare up badly then I won't be able to walk at all and it could get infected. Plus, If I go out in public in between my walks for whatever reason let it be a doctor appt, the library, a store, etc. I don't want to smell bad. People already stare at me and judge me for being fat and having a trach. I just wanted to know what other people do on showering and sweating alot... thank you.0

I walk for about ten minutes going about 4-5 mph. I'm drenched in sweat after and can't breathe. Can barely say one word.0 -
Sounds like you are doing your best to make the most of the situation. We see a lot of people here who are over exercising in an attempt to lose weight with unhealthy measures. No one is able to tell from your original post the purpose of your choice to exercise frequently throughout the day. I'm glad you are getting some help to deal with everything in a different way. Best of luck to you. As for your question, wipes on the sweaty areas will help considerably.5

Personally I think the worse place to talk about serious problems is an Internet forum. You will get lots opinions from people who have no education or expertise on anything.7

OP, I have nothing to contribute to the subject at hand, but I just wanted to offer a virtual hug and tell you that you are worthy and deserving of life. I wish you all the best!20

This. Since you have several medical conditions, it seems you should talk about this with your doctor.2 -
You've received some nice and to the point advice which has pretty much covered everything you asked about. The advice of the poster above me to talk about this with your doctor too is also bang on as you have enough issues going on that you don't need to add more!
Kudos to you for doing the best you can and exercising as best as you can.
You know what? You will find out that you will improve rapidly!
A year or two from now, you will be looking back at what you're finding hard today and marvelling at how far forward you've progressed!
And if a year or two sounds too far away... don't worry, you will be there before you know it!

You could try no rinse body wash: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_10?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=rinseless+body+wash&sprefix=rinseless+body+wash,aps,750
You just dilute some in a sink of water, dip your washcloth & wipe down & you're good. There are rinseless shampoos too. I've tried the Aloe Vesta body wash & shampoo as a body wash. It worked well, but the smell was definitely very "hospital soap" smelling to me. I did not try it as a shampoo.1 -
I mean im not exactly faking anyone. I am just an open book as everyone wants to.know why I have a hole in my neck and lying is too difficult. I just don't care anymore. But to the helpful people, thank you for the advise.

Best wishes to you, witcherkar. And I agree with SueSueDio above -- you ARE deserving of life and all good things it has to offer. Hang in there and stay focused on your goals!4
