Turned 44 this week and I am looking to add more friends to help me keep motivated. I log everyday and would like to have pals willing to do more that just like my posts. I am looking for accountability buddies. I need to lose 60 pounds. I have only lost 9. Long road but I know I can do it. I would love to have some support and be able to give some back as well. This journey is hard but with great support the sky's the limit! ( Women over 40 only please).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Soon to be 46. I joined a gym for the first time in my life two years ago and have lost 30 pounds. Ideally, I would like to lose another 10. Pleased with the physical changes, but still struggle with the food portion of the equation. Feel free to add!5

Am 45 - would appreciate some fellow 40s support.
One month in, have lost 10 pounds, have 20 pounds more to go - aiming to do it slowly and for ever!
Log every day, and am on weight watchers. Both are helping.

Thanks everyone!! We can do this!! Life gets in the way and it is ok. Lets keep it real and enjoy the ride!!
I was diagnosed with diabetes 3 years ago. Now I am a pre diabetic. Scary stuff. I do a lot of research and have tried everything. I know what works for me. Was an over eater ( was because I had to go to counseling to work on that). Portion control is key and moving my body is a must. Feel free to add me. I will be adding all of you soon!

Food portions are my weakness. I have to step it up. I have been on this plateau too long!1 -

Turned 49 in January and started logging (again) this week. On a journey to lose 70-75 lbs in a healthy way. No more dieting, but rather eating clean and healthy and logging my food to stay accountable. Looking for the support of others as well to help me stay motivated.4

I understand how everyone feels! I am 43...yup, I said that out loud...and am having a whopper of a time taking iff the weight. I did great last year after a scary diabetes diagnosis.( Yep, insulin!) Anyway, i got determined that I was not gonna do that for the rest of my life, and took off almost 40lbs. But in November my aunt passed away, and it seemed like after that it was just one thing after another to hinder my progress. Now I have put back on a few of those pounds...I can use all the motivation, support, and accountability buddies as i can get. Feel free to add me too!6

I will add you for sure. After my diagnosis I got really scared and worked hard to lose the weight. My mom died and I gained it all back. Had depression and anxiety issues, unresolved emotional crap and that made me eat my emotions completely. Thanks for your honesty and lets do this!!
