I personally love crocs. I have a few different styles, that don't look like the basic one. I miss my basic crocs (broke last year).

Seems like a stupid reason to defriend someone. Crocs are comfy as hell. If you have a job you're on your feet a lot, Crocs are amazing.

I'm not one of those people with strict foot wear rules.

Go ahead, wear crocs. Wear socks with sandals, pull your socks up to your knees.

And who cares if you have a scrunchy in your hair.

I have a pair of Croc flip flops that are so f'n comfortable I can wear them all day at work where I stand on my feet all day. Would I wear regular Crocs? Hell no.

I used to wear them in High School. I haven't since (7 years ago).

However, I just went into the Croc store at the Denver Airport while killing time and they have some VERY stylish crocs now-a-days! Like so:

    http://www.crocs.com/crocs-a-leigh-mini-wedge-leather/11847,default,pd.html?cid=274&cgid=women-collections-aleigh

I would have bought them but they're a little pricey IMO.

EDIT - just to add that since the company formed in Colorado, a lot of people wear them here, so it's not that socially unacceptable...maybe at work yes...but definitely not around town on the weekend or anything.
Those are acceptable, those are just Crocs brand sandals. Now normal Crocs, yes, just wear sandals you freak.

I bought a pair once while drunk and shopping. Okay, yes, I did this regularly at one time as it was the only way my wife could get me to go shopping for any length of time. It resulted in some interesting wardrobe items, a pair of yellow crocs among them. I wore them the next day for 10 minutes and decided I looked like Mickey Mouse and never wore them again. Interestingly enough, this is also how I ended up with a pair of man capris and an Ed Hardy button down.

I have a pair of sandals that are made out of croc material. they are very funny and interesting. I never wear them. But, maybe sometimes to the pool or when hiking under water.

My daughter has some lime green ones with little rainbow and lady bug decals. They actually look cute. They are too small now. Also at one point my daughter had some baby pink sandal ones, with hearts. They are actually cute on kids.

No, they're great for gardening, you just hose them off.

this is true, but once they are wet they take a while to dry out...er, so i have heard...

hahah!!! you wear crocs too! LMAO! thanx for the tip, i currently don't have a pair, but i WANT some for the garden

My best friend is a nurse, and she said they're awesome for when someone spews bodily functions all over you...you just rinse off your crocks and throw your socks out.

I wear crocs to swim. They float. Sometimes my floating crocs scare small children. :D

I don't know, would you defriend someone for wearing a fez?

    tumblr_m7f8sxuq3p1rylwhfo1_400_zps0d67c52e.gif

no, I'd just toss it in the air while our other friend shoots it. I would shoot it myself, but my aim is just horrid.

No, I don't judge people by the clothes they wear. People should wear whatever is comfortable for them.

OMG, it's a pair of Croc-Fingers. Hope they're not for real.

Must admit, I'm a big five finger fan in summer. Crocs are just pratical slippers or gardening shoes. But I wouldn't buy pink ones...

My husband wears them when hosing the gardens. Pink ones at that. Should I divorce him now?

    Nope.

But I would defriend somebody who defriended somebody for wearing Crocs because seriously, how homogenised do you want people to be?
