Help please! I am struggling with LNS
I tried to set a goal but can't do it. So I am embarrassed to post my failures as I see so many successes! I am envious of you guys who have conquered this!
How do you guys NOT snack? What do you do? Need some pointers please

When I get those LNS munchies, I get up and walk or find something else to keep me busy and drink water until the craving passes. I also try to get to bed fairly early (10pm, usually) as I find the later I stay up, the more I want to snack. I also remember I am accountable for any LNSnacking I may do the next morning when I post on this site. One thing I did find when I first started this is the longer I went without LNSnacking, the easier it got to "just say no!"3 -

Prelogging all my food in the morning. Dinner is my biggest meal. This seems to help me throughout the night. Also, I plan a snack at 6:50 before 7pm cutoff. After 7pm, especially on the weekends, coffee with skim milk and diet iced tea helps.5 -
I'm new to this program. I'm type 2 diabetic and trying to keep my A1C under control. My huge down fall is the Late Night Snack! Bad habit!!!! I hope this will be helpful.

August Goals
I'm making my cut offs 30 minutes earlier for the rest of August.
Then in September I will do the same.- Finish eating at 8.30 pm 25/31 nights. 10/25
- Finish eating at 9.30 pm 6/31 nights of my choice. 2/6
- Chose to be strong!

Boy, last night was a tough one. As I said in a previous post, I usually go to bed around 10pm so I don't often have problems with LNSnacking. Last night, I didn't go to bed until after midnight...Olympic fever around here...and I had to be very mindful not to snack. I wasn't hungry...just wanted to munch while watching TV. Managed to get thru it by the skin of my teeth!

Starting today! I'm not going to eat after 8pm. I have a really bad ice cream craving if I get wind that my parents bought some then end up eating way more than a serving late at night. It has to stop!3

Struggles/successes: so I have been away for the past 3 days in Toronto (Canfit conference for health and wellness) and have really gotten on track with LNS. Maybe it's all the rock hard fit bodies I see all day and they inspire me! Whatever works! But...being alone in my hotel I opted NOT to bring any bad food into the room so I wouldn't be tempted at night. Hoping this trend will continue once I get home tonight3 -

This looks good although it is half way done. ME 1? LNS 14.... will use the last half to improve. The problem for me lately (since I've been making an effort to control my portions/calories) is I feel so good at how I did during the day I 'relax' after the kids go to bed, see some extra calories that I could eat back then I do.... the worst things I don't eat in front of the kids like marshmallows, cookies, large bowels of cereal. ugg OK! it wouldn't be so bad if it was vegetables.3
