    When i bought my r8 which is actually a 2 seater i got *kitten* at by a few of my non car enthusiasts friends and said I was selfish lol. Really?

    Meh, I am not sure why people would call you selfish. You like cars, many others spend money on hobbies and fun things they enjoy, like boats, bikes, etc. I can see buying/splurging on something that takes away from the means of providing for a family.
