Among other things waiting for my steel cut oats to firm up enough so I can finally stop cooking them.
I make 3 servings at a time in my rice cooker and it usually takes around 2.5 hours but it's...been...8 HOURS!!!!...and they're still not ready.

Freaking out. Apparently I have to go to lunch with my boss to meet with clients because the one he was going to take is sick.
This is sooooooo far out of my comfort zone. I'm not sociable, he said dress appropriately when he KNOWS how I dress. I don't even own any non athletic shoes anymore. I get car sick when others drive. And it's at an italian restaurant so there goes my blood sugar.
