should i increase my fats?

I am currently bulking on about 3700cals with 500g carbs, 215g protein and 86g fat so I am at a ratio of 55% carbs, 24% protein and 21% fat. Now I've researched and regardless of my calorie intake, many recommend 25-35% of your diet should be fats despite minimum of 0.4g per pound of bodyweight. I have not noticed a strength increase from increasing carbs to 500, in fact i'm perhaps more sluggish. Shall I reduce carbs by about 100 and increase fats by about 35g? (it would put me at 400g carbs, 215g protein, 120g fat?

You don't get a strength increase from your macros friendo. The point of a bulk is to give your body an ideal amount of muscle building potential, which means a calorie surplus ensuring that it has no reason not to build muscle. This results in the normal fat gain during a bulk because if you're not gaining any fat you're likely missing out on some muscle growth.
Basically you get stronger by working hard while eating more. Just eating more doesn't make you go super saiyan. Make sure your program is at an appropriate intensity and you're not pissing in the wind.0 -
Yea, what's your lifting plan?0

I just feel really sluggish despite being at 500g of carbs that's why I thought I might try lower carbs by about 100g and higher fat by about 35g0 -

Try it for a week and see? It surely isn't going to hurt anything.0 -
were all different and there is no correct answer just trial and error. I would love to have the answer but the truth is there isn't an answer except maybe in a competition cut. I have over the course of 30 plus years of lifting adjusted my diet many times in the end and at almost 50 its Balance (mind body rest macros calories and kicking *kitten* at the gym..lol..0

I'm not concerned about my training it's my diet. How does 440 carbs, 115 fat and 220 protein look?0

Looks fine.0

48% carbs, 28% fat and 24% protein.0

You're WAY overthinking this.2

someone told me it doesn't matter what your macros are, if you are in a caloric surplus you will gain weight regardless so why do people analyse macros so intently?0

No, it is you who does this.1 -

so why the hullabaloo over calculating accurate protein/carb/fat intake

What hullabaloo?
Hit minimum protein, don't cut fat too low (some people have reasons to be on a low fat diet, most do better with somewhat more fat), and eat the amount of carbs that you enjoy eating within your calories.
I aim for 100 g of protein, and eat a diet that I think is healthful and which is enjoyable for me, and let my carbs and fat fall where they do. If I were suffering from low energy or cravings or hungry, I'd change things up, but not just macros, I'd look at other things too.0 -

You are the only one who analyses your macros so intently....0 -
so is 48% carbs and 24% fat not too high for both?0

The hullabaloo, the hullabaloo2

47% carbs and 23.5% fat would be much better.
j/k, it's fine, as are many, many other possibilities.1 -
