Sept 10: 135 ( HOW?? I didn't eat 3500 cal EXTRA yesterday!!....must be water??) ugggg it's hard to stay motivated!

Sept 13: 133.2 ( bad bad day yesterday! Scale not so bad though but MUsT get back on track today!!)

JTKATCH-Weigh and log every bite. Increase activity? I don't eat any/all of my exercise calories back because calories burned is not an exact science. Keep at it... It take time and adjustments to find the combination that works for us. And the day to day weighing is not the important part. Its the day to day habits and trends that you see. Sometimes it is weird like you wake up one day and 3 or 4 pounds mysteriously vaporize. Focus on the good habits and don't get discouraged. Believe me I know. Been at this for 3 1/2? years. I have been down up and stuck through it all. I have been in the 140s forever!!! I am determined to get out!!!!!!

Well I'm feeling tired but pushing through. I've gone over my calories with the small dinner I logged in because of the huge lunch I had so I'm thinking I'm going to have to go on a long run later or something. That sounds impossible right now but I want to lose more so I'll just need to knock it out. I'm tired of being tired so I just need to get healthier and more active so that I can have more energy. BOOM. It's going to get done.

Peanut butter is one of my big downfalls as well! How can something that tastes so good be so wrong?

Hmph. I'm struggling a bit with motivation at the moment. The numbers aren't that bad, but I feel like everything is hard work. I know it's not that hard really, I'm just feeling sorry for myself ...so I need to give myself a kick and get back to it!

I got nothing... Everything was in line yesterday. Perfectly wretched day at work yesterday and couldn't wait to get home to the couch. And then I thought NO WAY. Nothing is going to define me and who I am. So I went home, laced up went for a walk and ate a huge salad because I ended up with 12k steps and was way below on macros. Figured out the macros and then made dinner. Slept like crap last night and was awake at 3. Up at 4:30 and on the rower for 30 minutes. Since I really amped up activity, it's really screwing with my sleep. And when that happens, I seem to hold onto weight.... Saturday is my weekly weigh in so I have 2 days to keep it together.0 -

Omg! I feel you!!! PB has carbs and a lot of fat. The light has even more carbs than the natural. Better stick with the natural then, not to mention calories can add up fast! Put it away! Or portion out 2T in small containers and write the days of the week on them!
I have issues with NUTS! Hard to control (lol....I made a funny bc I work in a psychiatric hospital lol.... If you can't laugh at yourself and be happy who will??)

Keep going! I am up and Dow 1 lb almost everyday depending on water retention! But keep logging ! Try and pre log (pre plan you meals) have the same meal (hopefully that fits into your macros and make 2 portions) we are all in the same boat and we are here to motivate and encourage each other.

I am so times heavier when my muscles are sore...water rented ruin in the muscles. You did a lot of exercise. Make sure you keep hydrated today and eat clean. Tomorrow will be a good day0 -

Had a bad day-and-a-half eating. My son broke his arm severely at football Tuesday evening. After sitting at the doctor's office for three hours instead of working out, I ate a meal that I had not planned to eat.
Then I ate out twice the next day due to doctor's appointments and stress.
And yet the scale still says 143.3 today.
HAPPY DANCING again. It was a true drop, and if I drink my water today maybe I'll see 142-point-something soon enough.

Eating healthy and working out this week has really helped me debloat from last week's out of town eat fest! I'm hoping to get into the 120s next week but the weekend is coming up which is always a struggle. Work days I have a good eating and exercise routine. But when Saturday comes around it's harder to stay on track. :P

JTKATCH- Looks like you were right. Stuck with the program yesterday. I also took an Advil PM last night and went to bed early. Slept much better and feel much better. That 'water balloon' feeling in my legs is gone this morning. Thanks!
Got a busy weekend. Goal is to get exercise in first thing each day so I can't get derailed by the calories. Big Brother is coming into town this weekend from out of state and wants to have dinner. If he says BOLI I am gonna freak! I will tell him to order me salad and then endure the hour long grilling on my diet/exercise/macros theory.... LOL! Family!1 -
Back up a pound today - perhaps the salty ham I ate for dinner.

Jtkatch.... Good for you! Hope you are there tomorrow/ today (my late night post). Keep up with the water. You advice was correct and I had hoped you were.. When I am active I retain more ( I drink 100+ ) oz water per day for keto.) but if I do not get enough rest (flat on my back.... Sleeping I mean) I start retaining....in balance and I feel great.1

Doing well so far. On track! No cravings due to higher fat lower carb and lots of water! Exercise 5x/week. Now need to keep going. Glad to have everyone in this posting . You ALL keep me going! Thank you

Hey hey Frankie, glad to hear that the water retention in the muscles decreased and you feel less bloated. Keep doing what you are doing. We want to exercise exercise exercise thinking we will lose more weight but our bodies need rest too to heal. It's hard to do sometimes. Also we have to think that weight loss is 80/20 ratio (kitchen /exercise) but exercise is key to over all health that we may reap the benefits later on in life or not immediately tangible like lower cholesterol etc.
Keep moving and drinking! Stay on track0 -

Late night (obviously) so not quite enough rest and a couple pre planned cocktails. No biggie. Very happy with the week. Big brother had last minute change of plans so I am off the hook. Eating before the party so as not to get side tracked. My husband is so cool sometimes! Have a happy healthy weekend!2 -
