I log each meal as I go, either while preparing it or just after eating.1

I usually log after I eat, but if I'm cooking I'm weighing ingredients, noting items & quantities on paper (writing on junk mail envelopes
) as I go along, to record in the app when I'm done (and have clean hands). I usually have a pretty decent feel for where I am on calories as I'm cooking, but I occasionally pre-log something(s) toward the end of a day to get that day to come out the way I want it to, for macros or calories. Sometimes I log snacks as I eat them, so I don't forget.

I take a moment at lunchtime to enter my morning snacks, my lunch, and my afternoon and evening snacks.
Then all I've got to do is to add dinner and make any slight changes ... like if I decided not to have this, and went with that instead for an evening snack.0 -
