My wife is only 9 months older than I am however previous to that, I dated a woman 10 years older. In the past I had also dated a woman that was 5 years younger. Honestly the age differences made no difference.
I think if your happy - your happy and that's what counts.3 -
My husband is 10 years older than me. He was totally bothered by the age difference when we started dating. I have always favored older men but he had only dated people within a year or two of his age. My dad was 14 years older than my mom, so it was completely normal for me. Hubby eventually came around and it doesn't bother him now. When we met I was 34 and he was 44 so it would have been different if I was 18 and he was 28, but the older people get, any age difference doesn't seem to matter as much.

There is no difference if your happy and what works just works I think that younger guys tho are measurably more immature lol. The difference for me is that guys my own age (at least where I'm from) were all about video games and or pot. Being with my fiancé is a breath of fresh air. He is mature and more established and knows what he wants I n life. His confidence is very sexy to me... Not sure that I would go back to dating guys my own age. And yes I realise not all guys my age are pot smoking video game players... Lmao

My fiance and I are only four years apart (I'm 27 and he's 31) but oh my god, I love men in their 40s.

When I was 19 I dated a 38 y/o woman for a year.
When I was 26 I dated a 42 y/o woman for 2 years.
My first wife was 5 years older than me.
My second wife was 7 years younger than me.
The girlfriend in between was 11 years younger than me.
My current girlfriend is 6 years younger than me.
I've also dated women within a year or two of my age, at various times.
All good...
So yeah...all over the map.1 -

Don't listen much to any negative comments. It's your life, as long as you two get along well and enjoy each other's company it's all good. I had much more in common and definitely more fun with my second spouse who was much older1

So where was all these fine looking younger ladies who love older guys back when I was single? Lol0

Always worry if it turns into a long term thing me or her would die and spend X amount of years alone lol I dont want to spend hopefully my 80's alone while my lady is in the ground.1

When I was younger I was really hung up on age wouldn't date anyone more than a couple of years younger or older than me. Then dated someone 7 years older than me and didn't find it weird at all. It all depends on the person I guess.RebeccaNaegle wrote: »Men in their 40's rule.

I'd prefer to date someone around my age. I wouldn't date an old man, however, I would go for a younger man1

That could happen in any relationship weather it be natural causes or not. You could miss out on the most incredible love of ur life because you were to afraid to lose them which is losing them any way if u ask me. Tis better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all ❤0
