These photos show the sprite’s tendrils reaching as much as 100 kilometers above Earth’s surface. Sprites are major electrical discharges, but they are not lightning in the usual sense. Instead, they are a cold plasma phenomenon without the extremely hot temperatures of lightning that we see underneath thunderstorms. Red sprites are more like the discharge of a fluorescent tube. Bursts of sprite energy are thought to occur during most large thunderstorm events. They were first photographed in 1989.

I've been planning to ski this trail tomorrow, it goes along the shore of a big lake near Snoqualmie Pass. It'll be incredibly scenic, even within view of the freeway. And it's just shy of 8 miles, meaning I'll have to go 16 round trip. The longest I've ever skied in a day is 12 miles. But this is flat as a pancake.

Only problem, it goes through some avy zones. They downgraded the forecast from considerable to moderate. I've never seen a forecast of less than moderate at tree line in the winter. And I want to do this before the snow melts.

Does anyone else think it's *kitten* lazy to make a post on the recipe forum asking for a recipe for a certain food item? Like "I need chicken recipes". Wouldn't it have been less keystrokes to type chicken recipes into google? Or am I just on my period?
Like for real, I went in there thinking it was people posting recipes. Not people who don't know about Google.

Guilty as charged ))) Google is awesome but people may have their family's secret recipe or some advice if all of the exotict ingredients are not available. Half of the time, I need to correct the recipe I've fished out on the net.
My idea of *kitten* lazy is when someone perfectly capable of functioning independently and not exactly busy at the moment asks you to google something for them.

I wonder if a drone would've delivered my Christmas gift to my friend more accurately.

Secret recipes are called that because they don't give them out on the internet.
You're basically asking internet strangers to google recipes for you.

Nah I think they just want ideas. Chicken can be cooked no less than 1,564,290 ways I'd suspect they just want suggestions and then will google themselves. Don't you ever feel bored with all the recipes you do and just want some ideas for new sruff
