How many calories do you aim for a day??

Depends on what my calories to maintain my weight is. And what the amount of exercise is I did for the week. Once I know that, I eat for either 3500 or 7000 calories less a week if I want to lose 1 to 2 pounds. Sometimes I eat below that or step up the exercise, because I will have an eat up day where I can have what I want and not lose the 3500 less for the week. It lets me vary my diet, satisfy my cravings and still lose.
And that reminds me... I've been sick for 2 weeks from the flu so I need to get back on the exercise routine this week.

I usually average between 1300-1800 with exercise. But there are days that I do go as low as 1100, though those don't happen often, and only occur on my busy days.1
