I stick to the recommended serving size and only eat whole wheat pasta, never white.

Yes I do. If it fits into your daily calories then go for it. I do try to buy whole grain more than white because it has higher fiber and protein to keep me full.

If you're trying to lose weight, it's probably best that you only eat pasta at lunch time or early afternoon.

Hell yes. Why wouldn't I? Pasta is my favorite.

I eat pasta several times a week, just regular white pasta because I don't feel there's enough difference between the two.

When you say 100g, do you mean cooked or uncooked? A normal serving size, according to the box in my pantry and what I normally eat, is 2/3 cup or 56g of uncooked, which would be heavier once boiled.

I eat pasta sometimes, sure. Serving size is only relevant to what you need. 100g may or may not be "too much".

I don't eat pasta simply because it is high in calories and I find it hard to fit into my calorie allotment.

I eat pasta when (a) i want pasta, and (b) it fits into my protein and fat targets and I have calories available for it at dinner time.

I don't eat pasta because I'm gluten sensitive but I occasionally eat risotto with peas and bacon... so yummy! I prefer it to the gluten free versions of pasta.

Sadly have not touched it since I started my journey. Once I hit goal I will slowly bring it back however..one serving is really not enough for my taste buds..it leaves me wanting more. I currently use Shirataki noodles in place of it :(
For the fam I only buy whole wheat though.

Personally no. I get my carbs from other sources. If I want a "starch" I use quinoa or maybe a sweet potato.

I do but try to stick to whole wheat only. I am trying to cut back on all carbs I'm general. Definitely my weakness.

I love pasta. ALL THE TIME. Dinner. Lunch. Snacktime. Breakfast. PASTTTAAAAA. I don't eat a lot of it because I'm too lazy to cook it. But I still eat it. :D Just make it fit in to your day.

I've cut way back on pasta because I just don't get full enough on it for the amount of calories it adds to my diary. I still eat it once a week or so, though. Especially ravioli...mmmm.....

Only spaghetti or penne. Not ziti or linguine. Those make you fat.

Isn’t the rule you can only eat pasta during certain cycles of the moon or you will sprout a Mario mustache and get fat? (Kidding, don’t berate me with science)

It’s ok to eat, but better if you hit he whole wheat with the higher fiber. It keeps you full longer (it takes longer for your body to break down) and fiber has a number of other benefits such as constant flatulence!

    Dont fear the pasta.

    Oh yeah!

We have pasta a few nights a week. I can get my kids to eat it whenever without a single complaint so I'm all for it. Just fit it in your calorie goals.

I usually eat about a serving and a half with whatever topping I'm in the mood for. Last week I made a kick-butt garlic spaghetti.

I do most of the family cooking and they all like pasta too much for me to never make it. I try to always use whole grain and limit myself to a rather modest portion. size.

Hell yeah I eat pasta, it's delicious. Preferably with lots of olive oil, black pepper, cheese....mmmmmm

    Wait what was the question?

Ah yes, 100g? Eat as much as you like if it fits in your calorie goal. Weigh it, log it, enjoy it.

    Yes I eat pasta.

Whether or not it's "ok" depends on your carbohydrate/caloric allowance. You can probably find more nutrient dense carbohydrates but that doesn't make pasta "bad". It's delicious.

    Sure, I eat pasta.

I plan my day and if pasta can be in it then it is. It is a little bit more calories than other starches but sometimes I can fit it in and I do. Hey, come to think of it we're having spaghetti tonight.

I like the brown rice pasta best. It's got the fiber and it's gluten free so I don't have problems later over it.
