PB2 is the best! The PB2 chocolate is even better. That said it isn't oily or thick like real peanut butter. I really like it though. Amazon has a good deal on both.4

Well, each to their own. I don't like it, but a friend of mine loves it. They PB flavor is there, but it's just missing something. You may have to just try it for yourself.1

I add it to oatmeal and smoothies. less fat and no oily mess either.

I prefer the jif chocolate peanut butter powder but pb2 works in a pinch. Don't go in expecting the delicious flavor and comfort of peanut butter though.0
-
I love it, but I never use it as 'spreadable-make-a-sandwich' peanut butter. I use in recipes that call for peanut butter like peanut noodles, shakes, oatmeal mix-in, muffins, etc.2

I bought a bag of powdered peanut butter a couple of months ago. Tried it. It tasted ok but I prefer the real thing and haven't tried it again yet.
Should just toss a couple of tbsps in my morning protein shake to use it up, but the amount of protein (5G) in it just doesn't justifythe extra caloric intake (45 cals) IMO.1 -
I use a brand called PB and Me (I think it's Canadian) which I much prefer to PB2. It's good in oatmeal and smoothies, but I even like this particular brand as a spread. Peanut butter is one of those foods I'm not good at enjoying in moderation but I'm fine with having the powdered stuff around the house and it tastes good, so it does the trick for me!0

i personally dont like it by itself. in things its ok but on toast or to dip stuff in i need the real stuff0

OMG yes! A spoonful of PB2 in my morning oats is da bomb diggity!1
-
I never eat it on its own, but I love it in protein shakes, oats, cottage cheese (seriously, powdered peanut butter in cottage cheese with chopped apples is DA BOMB), and yogurt. I also like it in noodle sauces and for home made protein bars.
I like the Jif. I've never had good luck getting the PB2. Every jar of that I've bought has had an off taste.0 -
If you had a little honey to it, it's more like reg peanut butter..0

I buy protein plus (no salt or sugar) peanut flour and use it for my Asian peanut sauces. If I drank smoothies I would absolutely add it to those too.0

PB2 is good mixed into Greek yogurt also.2

I have seen a lot of recipes using it, so I bought a container of the PB2 a few weeks ago to try. Still sitting there un-opened. I love peanut butter and I plan on using this for some treats but havent gotten around to it yet.0

I always use way more than 2 tbs to get the flavor. So for me it's not good. YMMV1

I have tried the PB2 just the way they say to make it into peanut butter.. its good but not got the same taste as regular because there is no oil in it.. its basically dehydrated peanut butter... all natural... I have gotten to where I use it in my protein shakes rather than just making it into peanut butter.. has a great flavor and adds the little extra protein to it. I have seen the PB2 Chocolate.. but as I am not a huge chocolate person I have never tried that.
check out my diary.. under my breakfast where it is used daily...0 -
I love PB2, rarely use it now that I'm in maintenance and no longer dieting. I dunno where people get the "it's half sugar" but the ingredients are listed, they simply remove most of the fat to make it lower calorie. 2 tbsp usually isn't enough though, I usually put about 4-6 tbsp worth (up to 36g) mixed with water on bread for a sandwich.1

actually its almost no sugar.. only 1g of sugar for the PB2... one serving size 2tbs.1 -
I've tried it and I like it. I mixed a tablespoon of PB2 with 4 oz plain yogurt and I think I added a teaspoon of chia seeds. It worked well together. I actually bought the PB2 to make overnight oats but I haven't done that yet.
Oh, I use Smuckers Natural Chunky on bread. I'm not completely crazy.1 -
it is like someone's sad memory of peanut butter.2
-
Since I discovered PB2, I have never bought another jar of regular peanut butter. PB2 mixed in yogurt and oatmeal gives me the peanut butter taste I want and I don't take the huge calorie hit as I would with regular peanut butter. In a nutshell... SO GOOD!0

Not a fan. There is no need to fear dietary fat. Why suck the life out of a perfectly healthy, whole food?2

I like Jif powdered peanuts better than PB20

Exactly. If you use the organic or natural kind, it's a great source of good fat. And since sugar is the 2nd ingredient listed in the list, it makes up a large portion. I used to make PB smooties for my husband and I and it would take at least a cup of the stuff to get the flavor. When I calculated the calories and sugar amounts for a cup of PB2 I went back to natural PB which had less sugar ratio to protien and fat. We were more satiated and didn't use as much.
Remember a lot of times when companies take out the fat they replace it with sugar. The flavor has to come from some where.
Now if you are just going to stick to 1tbs a pop. By all means go there. But if you are using cups of the stuff at a time don't waste your $$$$0 -

I'm older (not very tall). I just don't have the calories to spare by adding 200 calories to oatmeal.3 -
I had to add a sprinkle of salt to Jif powder, prefer PB2. I eat it often, PBJ sandwiches, PB with banana, PB with apple slices.1
-
I have used the PB Fit and liked it. It has 10 more calories per serving than PB2 - the extra sugar, probably. I'm in a maintenance mode lately, so haven't used it much. I like to spread it on a square of dark chocolate for a treat - almost as good as a Reese's Cup. Or spread it on a brown-rice cake & sprinkle with a little sea salt. It's also good in Asian-style recipes that call for peanuts or peanut butter. Satay chicken, pad thai noodles, my version of cold sesame noodles, etc.
It's clearly not as yummy as real peanut butter (I'm a fan of Crazy Richard's chunky without sugar) but when getting pounds off it definitely has a place in my pantry.0 -
Love PB2. I also like to cook with it and make a satay sauce for peanut chicken, etc. Good in protein shakes, use it on occasion in my ezekiel bread french toast, overnight oats, etc.1
