*!* NOVEMBER 2016 Walking Challenge *!*
This is continued from previous Monthly Walking Challenges, we are walking into the 11th month of the year YAY Keep going!*. Each month has its own thread.
**** Anyone can join in at any time. The more the merrier, let’s keep each other motivated ****
Walking seems like the easiest way to start getting exercise, and even if you cannot track distance (or do not want to), tracking time is good too...go for a 10 min walk after dinner, or up it to 30 minutes, you will be amazed at the end of the month how much more exercise you are getting in.
Come back here and just post how far you walked, even if it was to the mailbox on a given day. The important thing is that you are moving and getting out (or if you walked in place in your basement to a video). Sometimes we need a little encouragement in order to do things in life.
Check in everyday with how far you walked or how long. This is just to motivate us to get in at least some exercise every day, and keep an eye on each other. Remember, you can track by steps, distance (miles or kilometers), time, etc.

Ready to join in - using my Fitbit as a motivator helps, aiming for 5 miles/ 12000 steps a day. My dog won't know what's hit her!7

~Take a walk every day.

Scared but gonna do this! I get anywhere from 2500 to 6500 steps in a day.
Can anyone suggest a goal for me? I would like to go by steps not distance or time.

I would say a goal of 5k a day. Just something that would challenge you to get a minimum number of steps in. Good luck!5 -

Fitbit on charge, need motivation now clocks have gone back! Just completed a 'Walk 500km in 90 days' challenge in community & it certainly made me move more. I'm in. 1st Nov tomorrow.5

I need this! I need to start getting 10K steps a day. I have a stress test (and am already on high blood pressure meds) on Tuesday and at 35 that's a big issue!!5
