    Hey everyone.

    I'm still adjusting to having a puppy (and recovering from a septic insect bite) - so that means no swimming at the mo, and changes to when/where/how long i can walk. (So far we are still outwalking the pup- but no doubt that will change as he is a working cocker.... )

    So I think I will go for raising my average step count this month.

    Across the last year it has been roughly 5,500 per day. (i often forget to take my phone with me and its step counter is not that accurate...so in reality I do more)

    The weather was so nice yesterday I wanted to go for a nice long bike ride. I forgot that it gets dark so much earlier now and the traffic was horrible because of rush hour so I only made it 6 miles.

    SUP Race weekend, so got some good SUP mileage...and even took 3d in my division (Female, 50+, 3 mile, SUP Surf board). :)

    I wasn't able to get to the gym much this week. I'm a Boy Scout leader and we have a camp out this weekend so I'm hoping to get some hiking miles in!

    So the cold has gone, the dry socket from my tooth extraction has gone, the skin abscess no longer needs regular dressings and I have even been given the all clear to swim again... And as you can see, the energy is going up. .infact i have actually been feeling pretty good (for a dame in recovery from chronic fatigue).

    Hey I even mended my curtains today - a task that has been hanging around (pun intended!) for months and months.

    Jeannie - are your 'walking miles' just when you are out of the house or do you wear a fit bit type thing all day long? (I am just measuring out of house when the iphone is boucing in my coat pocket... ) just curious as I know you are dog-walking too.
