Yeah that doesn't really work. You can't just look at another organisms diet and assume it is somehow translatable to humans. Gorillas have metabolic pathways and enzymes that humans lack....they can digest cellulose, we cannot. This is no different than showing a picture of a cow eating grass and suggesting that somehow therefore it would make sense for a human to eat grass. I mean even the cartoon hints at that unless you think humans can live off eating tree leaves like gorillas can.
I'm not saying that a vegetarian cannot get sufficient protein, but a gorilla being an herbivore has nothing to do with that.33 -
