Wow. I don't like the Lakers, never have, but that's a good pick up. They traded a lot for him though. Kinda crazyTankiscool wrote: »@LiftingSpirits AD to the Lakers !!! Thoughts??

But the kept Kuz who was then best of those young guys and no guarantee the no 4 pick pans out so we'll see - I just hope the Mavs can add some pieces this year1 -
I'm sick of commercials trying to convince me that AI being intertwined throughout my life is a good thing.5

Because you already believe that or you haven't seen enough commercials from the people trying to sell you AI to yet believe it?
I've always noticed how marketing, especially how radio does this with songs, uses the the mere-exposure effect. In other words, the more you see or hear something, you more you like it.
"The mere-exposure effect is a psychological phenomenon by which people tend to develop a preference for things merely because they are familiar with them."

Lately I noticed that over the past few years in the pursuit of happiness, I forgot to be happy. I also can’t help but notice it in many other people as well. People tend to do whatever they can if they think it will bring happiness to their future, even if it makes them unhappy in the present. I’m learning that sometimes you have to forget about the past and future and simply be happy in the present. I have found that its not about how much money you have, or how many friends you have, where you are from, or any other factors other than your attitude and outlook on life. By quantifying what you think you need to be happy, you set yourself up for sadness. Once you have it, you will find that it did not bring you the happiness you wanted. It actually makes you sadder than you were before. Happiness is a choice.8
